Lloyd was in and out throughout the night and the entirety of the next day.
His mind couldn’t even register what he was feeling as pain anymore. When he was awake, which was rare, he fought a high fever restlessly. When he slept, nightmares of white-haired princesses, corpse fathers, and dead friends plagued him. Over and over again, these dreams repeated in an unforgiving circle.
