ChromaGun 2: Dye Hard🔴🟡🔵 Demo - Zara The Silent Gamer
ChromaGun 2: Dye Hard is a portal-like game using colours to solve puzzle. You start with yellow but very quickly acquire red and blue and with the primary colours and, the help of little spherical drone, you puzzle-platform your way through the game.
I had a fun time playing this demo, it got me giggling like mischievous toddler several times throughout. I love the concept, though the execution is a little wobbly at times.
The graphics are nicely rendered but one thing I really liked was the comic book universe and every time I used the gun a POW! would pop up. Mechanically speaking, it's the usual WASD and mouse with the middle mouse button working as a way to switch colours quickly. It also has a colourblind mode were it uses a simplistic symbols system along side the colours. A circle for one colour, a line for another and, a circle with a line through it for a combination of both colours.
If you like portal-like game, puzzles and taking your time, give the demo a try.

Pixel Maniacs announced that their first-person puzzle game, ChromaGun, will make its way to the Nintendo Switch starting January 22nd. The game originally came out for PS4 and Xbox One back in August of 2017 after having a run on PC a year earlier. It was a game that seemed to combine some of the wry humor from Portal but with more grounded puzzles from games like Antichamber and Colortone. (mor…

So I have that thing where I can see numbers as colors/associate numbers with colors... I'm not exactly sure what that has to do with Pixel Maniacs' color recognition puzzle game ChromaGun. But I'm workshopping it. Anyway, here's some gameplay of the first few levels of the game.

CHROMAGUN, PS4 Gameplay First Look - Like many others have said this game for sure reminds me of Portal but that is not at all a bad thing. Portal 2 on the PS3 is one of my all time top favorite games ever so playing ChromaGun brought back good memories. ChromaGun has similarities but it is a game that stands on it's own and does a damn good job of doing so. I am enjoying myself playing ChromaGun so far and I look forward to playing more.
