My former BBS geek friends went atheist and kinda angry/hateful of Mormons and I don't think they'd kill any but I think they'd harass and that's still not good. I wonder if it was a nightmare that they beat me up when first moving to Utah and that's why I needed speech therapy etc or if it really happened. Or if it was someone else. I was fine after i graduated even riding roller coasters, eating and then riding roller coasters and getting hungry again. It's possible they were just mouthing off at the wrong time but not 100% sure. But they became cool after that.
