Oh gosh, your meta posts and insight on NDRV3 characters (or really, just the game in general) just made me love the game and characters even more and in fact, you've gotten me to appreciate Ouma even more as a character (he's still on my least favorites list but I won't deny that he is an interesting and well written character) and, well, pretty much everyone. I don't necessarily have an inquiry but I just figured I say that to you! You're an awesome person!! ^u^
Thank you! This was such a nice ask! I’m really happy if you’ve been enjoying the game more–ndrv3 was such an enjoyable experience when I watched it, and I really wanted to share that with others when I started running this blog.
As for Ouma, I’m really happy if you’ve come around to liking him as a character! I can definitely understand not liking him as a person; everyone has a right to like or dislike characters based on personal preference, and it’s certainly true that Ouma does say and do really horrible things in order to accomplish his goals, even if he was well-intentioned.
But he’s such a central character to ndrv3′s themes and so interesting and tragic in a sense, that it really does make me happy to know that more people are at least understanding the role he played in the game!
