Yeah, I’m back with my bullshit :3.
New chapter for Start Me Over was just posted!
This time we take Pixelator for a spin and oh what’s this? Could my baby Chloé be attacked by more feelings?
I do enjoy making her suffer way too much, anyway I hope you guys enjoy!

ML Watchthrough | S1E7: Pixelator
This episode premiered on March 3rd 2016 on Canada's Télé-Québec. Like the last one, it's written by Guillaume Mautalent and Sébastien Oursel.
In French, the episode is called "Numéric", meaning something like "Digital". Bit of a boring name, if you ask me. Korea calls this episode "Sasaeng Fan's Obsession", but the ML wiki translates that as "Residents of Obsessed Fans". Yeah, I think Google's translation makes a lot more sense. The German title is "The Superfan".
"You will be graded on your effort, which will affect whether you pass or fail the class." The heck kind of class is this even for? French Bustier says this will count for their overall grade for the 3rd trimester. Just... wat.
Ivan and Alix are pillow-fighting.
Chloé, let the boy go.
Marinette is more focused on the fact that Chloé gets to spend the day with Adrien than the fact that she's getting really into his personal space, starting the long trend of her caring more about her romance with Adrien than the dude himself.
English Jagged is voiced by Lex Lang, which I bring up because I'm also taking notes for Avatar: The Last Airbender, where he voiced Fire Lord Sozin. Yes, really. Anyway, Lang's voice fits Jagged very well, and I also like the British accent they're going for. Jagged has an American accent in the French dub, but the name "Jagged Stone" is a reference to The Rolling Stones and to Mick Jagger specifically. The British accent was more appropriate to begin with and the French dub stans are more than welcome to fight me.
Who the hell keeps a crocodile as a pet?
André completely changes his tune when he hears Jagged is rich. Noted.
Chloé's dad is both the mayor of Paris and the owner of a hotel, probably because it's a play on the French phrase "hôtel de ville", meaning "city hall". Now that I think about it, their surname is probably in reference to the earlier phrase "parloir aux bourgeois", also meaning "city hall".
"All Animals Are Dogs" strikes again. Writers, here's a crazy idea: if you're going to write Fang like a dog, why not give Jagged an actual dog? I'm no fun, I know.
This dude has the same blond hair with pink streaks as Zoé. I wonder if this means something.
If Vincent's face wasn't already punchable, the voice acting would've done it for me. Good job, voice department. Speaking of which, Vincent is voiced by Matthew Mercer, who also voiced Ivan until S2. I didn't even notice at first; those two have completely different voices. The man has mad skills. In French, he's voiced by Franck Tordjman, the default background character VA, until he's replaced in S6 by, of all people, Thierry Kazazian, Plagg's VA.
The French automatic subtitles call the man "Vincent Hasard" ("coincidence, random chance") instead of Asa. Honestly, hilarious.
But your picture on my wall It reminds me that it's not so bad Not so bad ... sorry, where was I again? That's from "Stan" by Eminem, for all three of you who didn't know. (Well, actually it's from "Thank You" by Dido, but w/e. Technicalities.)
Penny is voiced by Mela Lee, the same VA as Tikki.
So far, Jagged Stone has held concerts in: London, Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Porto, Bern, Rome, Berlin, Oslo, Helsinki, Seoul, and Tokyo. Basically, Northern and Western Europe, and East Asia. Western European writers forgot Eastern Europe exists again, as usual.
I was about to call this the fastest akumatization in the show relative to episode runtime, but Nathanaël's is still faster.
For those of you who don't know, "gofer" is just a fancy term for "errand boy". That being said, what the hell did Alya do to piss Chloé off so badly that she's giving her a worse job than Marinette? I'm guessing this is revenge for Lady Wifi, but who knows? Certainly not me.
"So go ahead. Gof!" Same energy as "You're my henchman, go hench or something."
Marinette, those things aren't even remotely red or blue, the fuck are you talking about?
The show beats you over the head with how the kwami need to stay secret, but when someone actually sees one, it's immediately glossed over. This show, man. This show.
You precious dumbasses.
Now that I think about it, "Photo Finish" would've been a great title for this episode.
Chloé does the same "pushing someone away by their nose" motion that Ladybug does.
"Look out, Chloé!" Adrien, no. If she can't recognize an obvious akuma when she sees one, she deserves the Darwin Award.
"But they're pink!" I was about to say "No, they're not.", but then I looked closer and the frames are, in fact, pink. My badness.
Those are the ugliest sunglasses I've ever seen in my life.
Worst attack dog ever. See, Jagged, maybe you should've gotten an actual dog.
"See you later, alligator." Vincent, that's a crocodile. French Vincent calls Fang a handbag. Hilarious.
The painting above Jagged's bed is "Four Seasons" by Alphonse Mucha.
Shouldn't that have completely digitized Ladybug? Yeah, I know. Plot armor.
I thought that the whole "Hawk Moth can cause people pain" thing wasn't going to come up again after Evillustrator, but it did. Huh. Good job, writers. Have a cookie. Also, Force Choke. Gabemoth is really commited to the Darth Vader aesthetic.
American-accented French sounds so weird.
"How creepy!" You're talking?! I guess this is why the episode is about someone stalking Jagged. If it was about someone stalking Adrien, the parallels would've been a lot harder to ignore.
Comically missing the point.
French Jagged says his mom plays poker instead of bingo.
If you remember what I was saying about Jagged being British, Vincent following Jagged around is logistically a lot easier if Jagged is from Europe rather than the U.S, especially considering that the Schengen Area exists.
Théo is dating Mireille? Weird.
Priorities: Jagged does not have any.
Pixelator frees the exact person Ladybug needs him to. Convenient convenience is convenient.
Nino, that's a Math textbook, not a novel.
Yell a little louder, why dontcha!
Adrien, you impulsive little shit.
The Fox Miraculous would've been really uselful in this fight.
Jagged, you drama queen. I love you.
For a hot second I thought the Lucky Charm was going to be soap.
Also, another one for objects that Ladybug could literally just find. She could've asked for a compact mirror from someone hiding nearby, or literally just rip out a car mirror.
Look at my boy being competent.
Yeah, that had no business actually working.
André has no problem not giving Chloé a concert ticket, but sure, writers, tell me more about how he's totally afraid of her.
You know, writers, you can have Adrien marvel at new experiences without trying to tug on the hearstrings.
Very early art from ZBrush creator Ofer Alon (aka Pixelator) Anyone who saw this at a trade show in 1997 immediately understood this was the future of digital art
