I was about to thank you for that last post. That is some shit I have been dealing with FOREVER and it’s hard to explain to people.

YEAH! I never knew how to describe it but as soon as I read that post, it made more sense. And now I have a reference for when people ask some of the stuff I deal with, especially since ADD/ADHD are severely underestimated in how they can impact your mental health and everything ahh

i think it DEFINITELY helped. he ate last week with it so i used it again this week!! the rats nose started bleeding too so he was super excited. 

at least this week he didnt chomp the rats leg off like he did last week haha.

Ah man, I’m sorry to hear that :c. Colubrids are goddamn ninjas. Found my kingsnake in the couch yesterday and I didn’t even know he was missing! Latching tub failed, so I’m finally getting him a locking cage.

he was being such a cranky brat too, just before he got out. he had the latching tub AND a large book on top because I was nervous. I even had a strap over the tub?? but he got out somehow and ive spent time seraching for him+2 weeks of traps but,, i still havent felt okay taking his setup apart. he was a lovely little guy ugh ):

as much as i love some of the colubrids, their tendency to get out really sets me away from them. i love my ball as well, but i think if i go for another reptile, i might do a lizard or skink of some sort.
