My submission for the Velvet Room Art Show an awesome little show going on in LA which I got to draw the death card for the tarot deck they’re building.

I love Persona 3 so much so I’m so stoked to be able to draw something for it!

After many days I have finally completed this print of the Persona 5 main cast, created in anticipation of the game’s upcoming release in a few weeks!

This print is actually going to be for sale at PixelDrip gallery’s Velvet Room art show on September 10th so if you happen to be in the area maybe you can stop by and peek~

For those of you who don't know I love Patrick Swayze movies. They are like comfort food for my soul. It could be his dancer's body or  maybe it's the zen like understanding he brings to almost all his roles, but I truly believe Road House and Point Break should be preserved  for future generations in the U.S. library of congress.

I know that there is a backlog of items waiting to be entered into the Library of Congress, so I did the next best thing and began curating PixelDrip's February wall at the Hive to be so Patrick Swayze Centric you wouldn't be sure if you were in an art gallery or watching TBS Saturday night at  2 a.m.

I knew my awesome friends and peers would do their normal awesome self thing of creating great art work. What I didn't know was that when I approached them about a turning my goofy Swayze is the best poem into a song they would also be down to turn it into a music video.

I had such a great time filming this video and it wouldn't have been possible without the help of Pixeldrip and friends. Evan Koehne did an amazing job directing and also acting as the rowdy redneck character. Dax Shchaefer who  composed music, contributed additional lyrics and acted out so many iconic Swayze scenes was so effing wonderful throughout the entire process  (even if he did  look better in my dresses than I do). I am also crazy thankful that all the actors  could take a few hours out of their Saturday to film. Willy Roberts was so nice to let us rip out his throat and also let us use some of his theatrical blood. It was a great weekend where I not only was able to pay tribute one of my favorite film actors of all time, but got to spend it with super talented people who for some reason are my friends despite my Swayze-nerdiness.

The Crazy for Swayze Wall opens at the Hive Gallery February 8th.
