maize - share the weirdest encounter you’ve had with a stranger on the street

lol, well. not the street technically, but i was at Reading Terminal Market with friends last summer, and a lady in the crowd asked me for some money. i have no problem at all giving money to people who ask for it and almost always will - if i have money on me, but i very rarely do. who carries cash anymore?? anyway, i apologized and told her i didn’t have any money, then turned to move on, and she muttered, not quietly, “why do the fat ones always treat you like that?”

cocoa - if you could have any type of hair, what colour and cut would you have?

LORD, ANYTHING BUT WHAT I’VE GOT, this mousy, frizzy, fine, thinning, dishwater blonde mop just ain’t doin it for me and it never has. i used to think i could pull off strawberry blonde but i’m not sure i could, really - i have the freckles but i’m so pale and flush-faced that it’d probably just make me look worse. so...like, if this was a fantasy world where i could have ANYTHING i wanted, i’d have WHITE hair, long and thick and poker-straight. or SILVER. or TEAL!!!!!

No but it looks like he’s younger which means his hair is trending longer over time! (Since casual Hanzo’s hair is about the same length as default Hanzo’s hair?)

But that would be mean he cut his Young Master/Young Hanzo hair! He didn’t know what to do with it, obvi, but he shouldn’t have cut it so short before he had a murder to mourn!

1. What is your middle name?

Ann (without an e!), like my mom’s. Fun fact: Sarah Ann, WV, is a hamlet in my home state “famous” for exactly one thing: the cemetery in which “Devil Anse” Hatfield and some of the other Hatfields of the Hatfield-McCoy feud are interred!

5. What is your favorite color?

Blue of just about any shade except navy, and especially teals/turquoises/other blue-greens. I’m also partial to greens and pale dusty pink.

23. Have you ever met any celebrities?

Pretty sure no? Nobody I deemed worth remembering, which is basically the same as “no.” This is probably for the best, for all concerned.

37. Favorite swear word?

Oh, “fuck,” no contest. It’s versatile, it’s impactful, it means “sex” which delights the normal part of my brain to know that I’m killing the puritan part of my brain with each deployment, and it was a word I came to very late in my development (I didn’t start swearing til college, and it took me a long time to work up to “fuck” and even longer til it felt right in my mouth), so I’m a little overly attached to it now.

WHOOPS I skipped over the part of that list where it said to send the prompts in! I thought it was just a list to inspire writers! D: But I can roll with it, LOL!

7. I know your weakness.  It’s kisses.  You are doomed. (Don’t worry.  We’re all doomed eventually.)

It takes hours to hunt him down. 

He knows his movements, his patterns, his habits. He knows how he’ll respond to gut feelings and anything out of the ordinary. He knows how observant he is, how he doesn’t miss a single detail. 

So it takes hours to slowly, gradually, casually sidle up to his side without tripping any wires, without alerting him, without giving any sign of what’s about to happen.

Until he pounces.

“Hup! Han, what–mmf!” And his words are muffled by the press of their lips, as is his surprised moan.

Lúcio whoops, Hana mock-gags, and Ana applauds lightly, oo-ing in appreciation when Hanzo tips Jesse back, supporting his weight solidly with strong arms, dipping him until his torso is nearly parallel to the floor. 

He lifts Jesse back up and lets him go. He allows himself a pair of seconds to smugly commit Jesse’s red cheeks, wide eyes, and ruffled beard to memory before he turns and sweeps away like a thief in the night.

He doesn’t get too far before, their roles are reversed, Jesse is hunting him down, determined to return the favor.

It’s “randomly awake at 4am” time again so I opened the chapter, saw the chapter title, went “oh no. oh hanzo.” and then started reading and upon getting to the part where winston’s like “hey hanzo are you ready for a seven person party in ur secret house!” I literally had to stop myself from cackling bc it DID go where I thought, I have BEEN that introvert unexpectedly told that we would be having company over later today, so I am sympathetic to hanzo but also finding this SO FUNNY SLDKDF

LOOOL, this was the story of my life growing up!! My parents LOVE having people over to dinner, but for some reason they never ever ever plan it out more than a day in advance, and often with even less warning time, so I’d come downstairs and, oops, hello total strangers in the house, how are you???

I didn’t mean to project that on Hanzo, but I might have anyway. XD
