3 Non-Fanfic Books/stories
The Witcher Saga by Andrzej Sapkowski (The writing has a significant influence on me, and the subversion of fairytale tropes is *chef's kiss* is wow
The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J Klune (So I never read any queer books in my life, thanks to my upbringing- I was recommended to that due to me lurking through a reddit community, and the story is too sweet AF, and it is like a gay hug.. it did and Arthur has a Kazuma vibe which won me over)
Margaret the First by Danielle Dutton (A small novella focusing on the dramatised life of Margaret Cavendish, and it was a fun book to read which I should read it again LOL)
Melt Not In Weeping by DC_Fitzpatrick (Ao3): So I read soooo much Sense and Sensibility fanfics, because Colonel Brandon x Marianne has so much potential as a couple and this author made them so romantic and sweet, she works on a modern AU of them but this story lives in my mind rent-free.
Malenia’s March to Caelid by boomerangggg (Ao3): There is a varying amount of Elden ring fics, but this one has such beautiful writing and even if you have little crumbs for Malenia and Finlay- the passion is like sooo good ;)
There is a Fruits Basket Kyoru fic which is a retelling of Eros and Psyche but unfortunately, it is so hard to find as she privatised it D:
