A daily read with all major arcana cards is always worth really reflecting on, so I pulled out Holistic Tarot by Benebell Wen and reviewed her analysis of each card. I think the most important bit was regarding The Lovers. To quote: "Many contemporary tarot practitioners assign a romantic indication to The Lovers card. However, in every traditional interpretation of The Lovers, the card is about a moral choice, about choosing the right path." (pg 82 of the 2015 paperback edition, emphasis mine.) She also talks about how, when the card is in reverse, the central theme is the serpent: some kind of interference from outside that is trying to sway your moral choice. It's a warning to follow your own internal compass instead of letting others sway you. Interpretation: You're currently in a good place, balanced and complete. Be skeptical of outside parties suggesting you take a new direction; they may not have your best interests at heart.

It's apparently a day to focus on practical matters. Interpretation: You have a team in your corner, and they are exactly enough. Life is satisfying and settled.
