The evening was calm and peaceful as you prepared for bed. Felix sat on your pillow, watching you with such adoration in his eyes. His tiny legs were crossed, and his iridescent wings shimmered softly under the dim bedroom light.
You had just finished your skin care routine, and put your hair up in a messy bun, before walking over to the bed. You felt his gaze follow you with a soft smile on his face. Watching you get ready for bed was his favorite thing ever. He loved how nice your skin smelled and how soft it felt under his lips and fingers.
"Ready for bed, Lix?" you asked.
"Ready." He said, letting you climb into bed, pull the covers up and lay down beside him.
Felix fluttered over to your face, his tiny wings beating softly in the air. He landed gently on your cheek, his tiny hands resting on your skin.
"I love you," he whispered, his voice, a soft melody. "You look so peaceful, so beautiful."
"I love you too, baby." You said, a blush creeping up your cheeks.
With that, Felix leaned in, pressing tiny, soft kisses to your lips. You closed your eyes, savoring the delicate touch of his lips against yours. It didn't matter that he was tiny. His kisses always managed to make you feel so warm and loved.
"Goodnight kisses," he whispered, his deep voice filled with love.
"You give the best goodnight kisses." You giggled softly, feeling a warmth spread through your chest.
"Only for you." Felix smiled, his eyes twinkling mischievously.
He fluttered down to your pillow, nestling close to your face. You turned your head slightly, so you could see him better. He looked so content, so at peace. Felix curled up close to you, and you reached out, gently stroking his back with your finger, feeling his tiny wings stretch slightly at your touch.
As you closed your eyes, you felt a deep sense of safety and happiness. Felix's presence eased all your worries and filled your heart with so much love. With him by your side, you knew you could face anything.
