OPEN STARTER
Life for Ludivyn was hardly steady or safe. The traumatized blonde found herself constantly looking over her shoulder, avoiding certain trails, and jumping at the slightest of sounds. It was hard being a secret seelie fae knowing that she was intensely desired in so many ways from so many supernaturals. However, she was left without a choice other than to simply survive day by day and hope the spirit within never died. Instead, the young pixie focused on what made her happy which was working at Pixie Plates. Being at her job made her feel safe and allowed for common interaction without having to indulge in much open conversation. Now that she was a waitress there she realized that the communication exchange was usually the same with every customer where she asked what they would like to order from the menu, serve them, then clear the table for the next guest. It was a simple repetitive task that fulfilled the working class fairy for the time being on Earth in Tabula Rasa.
That evening was the weekly singing event where Ludivyn would usually perform, but due to a co-worker calling in sick, the blonde managed to pick up the shift instead. It wasn’t a busy night but the locals did make their way through the doors which kept her moving around most of the time. After coming back from her required lunch break, she headed over to her first table.
With a pen and pad in hand, she asked what the guest would like to order, but the thoughts of the room seemed to distract her as blue eyes struggled to focus on what was being said,
“You want... fettuccine cat food...”
Her words mixed with the voices in her head from the nearby table.
“What? I mean no, you wanted... I’m sorry what did you say?”
