Pizza Trivia.

Well, well, well. Look what the cat dragged in. Well, we are grateful to our feline friend for doing so, because it is good to see you. So good, in fact, we decided to mark the occasion with a little somethin' everyone can get behind in these here most trying of times: #pizza. Pizza, is, for the unawares, a delicious dish of Italian origin that consists of a typically round, flat base of leavened wheat-based dough. It is topped with tomatoes, cheese, and often various other ingredients (sausage, vegetables, olives, etc.) and then baked at a high temperature; traditionally in a wood-fired oven. A small pizza is sometimes called a pizzetta. A person who makes pizza is known as a pizzaiolo. Preeeeeeetty interesting, don't you think?

That has been the highlight of my day so far.

Just ate most of a party pizza myself

On race days I have an insatiable appetite.

I'm trying to be honest with myself about what I actually eat.

I just had a feast of pizza. Normally after doing that I'd then eat whatever I wanted for the rest of the day, using the logic that my day is ruined nutritionally anyway. Or I would convince myself that there aren't that many calories in pizza. But today, instead, I added up my intake. I ate about 2,000 calories in one meal. Shocking. But then I realized I can still eat over 600 more calories and maintain my weight. My macros ain't pretty, but this meal has not ruined anything for me.
