Today was my self care day.
And what a fucking good self care day it was.
I got up relatively late, had coffee and lunch with my Momma, and then promptly left for the salon in Alexandria. I made it just on time for my appointment, and then began one of the best facials I've had up to this day. Laurie is the absolute best. Got my hurrs done, then headed back to Motown to drive taxi. I had a pretty chill evening - no creeps, made good money, and I was done driving for the night around 2:30. Then I took the awesome new pomegranate body butter I bought from Laurie, and rejuvenated my hands. They don't feel scaly anymore.
I'm writing this with a purring cat in the background and pizza Pringles by my side. Life is damn good.
