Amelia frowned, as she was in her car, following James to his place. She bit her lip as she followed him. It wasn’t a date. It was just food, and soda. It wasn’t a date, but then why was she so nervous? She sighed, trying to calm down as she drove into the car park behind James, fixing her hair before getting out of her car, waiting for James, smiling.

After a solid 20 minute lecture from Mrs. Briely about what exactly she’d do to Angela if she found out that she was following her family, Angela managed to escape. If James’ mom was there, she thought, it would only make sense for James to be there somewhere too. She peeked into every classroom, sometimes disrupting very intimate moments, to search for him. 

It took a few minutes, but she finally found him sitting alone in a classroom. He was staring out the window, his back to her, and she realized that his posture might have been the most casual she’d ever seen it. She crossed the room to him as silently as she could manage and put her hands over his eyes. “Guess who?” she asked. “I’ll give you a hint. I’m the hottest person you know, and your mom fucking hates my guts.”
