A little time had gone by and the bear hadn’t shown up. In fact, the sheer absence of the creature made the students think that, perhaps, he’d given up altogether and maybe they could go home. But alas… that wasn’t completely the case. When he showed up in the lobby one morning, unannounced, it was obvious he didn’t care quite as much about this whole ordeal as he once had, but he still had a few tricks up his sleeve nonetheless.
“Morning, bastards. I know what you guys are thinking; I’m a little late, aren’t I? Well, whatever, who cares what any of you think anyway. To be frank, I’m mourning the death of Miss Matsushita. She was a joy to have in class..”
“Eh, whatever, let’s get this show on the road, shall we? I’ll strike you a deal- not that you brats can afford to reject the offer anyway, right? One more murder. If you can figure out the culprit, I’ll let you guys try to figure out who I am. If not, the killer gets all the money I have and can walk away freely with all my possessions.
See, this game is getting rather boring now, don’t you think? All my favorites are dying out. Well, upupupu, try to impress me just this last time, got it?”
And with that, he was gone.
