Here's a cover of Meant to Be by Melissa Polinar. This was one of my FAV songs from that whole youtube wave of filipino singers way way back in the day LOL!! Yknow, AJ Rafael, Gabe Bondoc, Melissa Polinar, Passion... suuuuper throwback hahaha! But it's dope that they're still making music and having an impact :D Anyway, just a quick s/o to them bc they really inspired me to pick up a guitar and start singing and playing like a normal Filipino. LOL!! JUST KIDDING. All jokes aside... I am really grateful for their music that impacted my life. If it wasn't for them, I probably wouldn't have ever gotten the chance to lead worship at my home church (Victory Baptist Church in Anaheim - Shameless plug ;D) or meet many musicians who I now consider very close friends!! Here's a cover of Whole Heart (Hold Me Now) by Hillsong from Lindsee and me. I love this song!! We actually recorded this a couple of months ago, and uploaded it to her channel. I didn't really have time this week to make a cover (finals) so I asked her permission to post it on my channel and she said yes :D haha. Lord I Need You Matt Maher Cover by PJ and Andrea

Here's a cover of Lord I Need You by Matt Maher by my sister, Andrea, and me. This is actually one of my favorite worship songs so I was pretty stoked to do it. I love how it starts off super quiet, then BAM, gets all emotional and loud LOL. The lyrics really are true. Without Him, I'm a mess. I know, for myself, when I begin to fall off reading my Bible, praying, and talking to God, life can become very dull and irritating. I start to fill my mind with so many things that contain no lasting substance or benefit such as the approval of others, instagram, twitter, etc. Not to say that these things are horrible and that we should stay away from them completely, but when that is what we mostly consume, our lives can become purposeless - well for me at least. I hope this cover serves as an encouragement or "push" to really seek God in all we do. Bc we truly need Him, not only for our salvation, but for our wellbeing here in our temporary home.

Jesus Paid It All Kristian Stanfill Easter Cover by PJ

Here's another cover for Easter - Jesus Paid It All by Kristian Stanfill. This is an old hymn written by Elvina M. Hall, and I think the first contemporary version I heard of this song was by For All Seasons (Highly recommend you listen to it ;)). ANYWHO, it's a beautiful song that talks about really what Easter is all about. His death on the cross, His blood shed, washes us clean. No matter what wrongdoing or shortcoming we have in our life, Jesus paid it all so that we can be Holy and accepted by the Father, which is Him, which is also the Holy Spirit LOL. As Easter approaches, I encourage everyone to reflect on the price Jesus paid for us. There is no super special way to do this.. It's all just recognizing, appreciating, and thanking Him for what He did for us many years ago.. AND ultimately responding in worship and putting our faith into ACTION. I'm so thankful that He made a way for me through His death and resurrection. Thank you, Lord. Hope you guys are refreshed by the message of this song! God bless!! :D

Here's a cover of You Are My King (Amazing Love) by Billy James Foote. As we approach Easter, I felt pretty compelled to make a cover of this song as it talks about the good news through Jesus' death. Most renditions of this song are pretty calm and solemn, ie. Chris Tomlin, Hillsong, Newsboys. But I thought it sounded pretty nice as a more peppy and upbeat version - which is pretty funny considering I've never done an upbeat Gospel/worship song LOL! Anyway, I know it is a well known song, but I hope the message of it reminds and refreshes you!! God bless!! :D

Build My Life Housefires Cover by PJ

Here's a cover of Build My Life by Housefires. Just a worshipful song expressing our trust in Him. The first time I heard this song was at Cottonwood Church in Los Alamitos - and it was a huge encouragement for me to read my Bible. The lyrics say a lot of things like "fill me", "show me", "lead me" (etc.) but we cannot do any of that if we are not listening/reading, meditating, and applying His word. I believe when we read His word we truly feed our souls and build a firm foundation of love and truth that can't be shaken. Hope you're blessed by this song!!

Here's a MASHUP cover of For the One (Jenn Johnson) with Lion and the Lamb (Big Daddy Weave, Bethel, Leeland idk lol) by Darryl, Jezy, and me! :D As mentioned in the previous video, I met up with them to practice for a praise set we are singing for this Sunday. For the One and Lion and the Lamb are apart of the set we have this upcoming Sunday. I asked if we could record a few songs for the channel and they were DOWN :D

For the One is currently my favorite worship song!! Never heard it until these two showed me. I was telling them about the first time I listened to it. I was instantly convicted by the message and lyrics of the song, especially after learning the back story of why the song was written. Apparently, Jenn Johnson wrote it after an encounter with a homeless man at the grocery store. Whether that's true or not I can see how the message applies. We are not only called to love the outcasted, but we also must love our enemies. The ones we have differences and conflicts with - which can be very hard to do. This song is a request and cry out to God for help, to be more like Him, to increase our love, and to love with truth. Lion and the Lamb talks about who He is. He is a lot of things, but this song particularly highlights His glory and majesty. Not much to say here for me, but the fact that He is so great and big yet He still loves us.
