out of all the things that she could have said to catch him so off guard, he had a feeling that this was possibly as far as it could go. those choice of words… perhaps they shouldn’t have been so surprising to him after all, considering that he didn’t seem like such a friendly person to begin with, let alone being one in a relationship. not everyone is aware, he had to remind himself again, because it didn’t really show when he were alone. either way, though, was this really her idea of comfort? unexpected. “i’m highly aware of that.” casually waving off her words with his own, he sits back and gets more comfortable. not everyone needs to know, he didn’t want to talk about it either, so quickly he turns the tables. “are you, though?”
Quite honestly, Joohyun didn’t even know where she suddenly got the guts to talk to the male, let alone utter those words. It was something unexpected, something border lining insensitive, but also something she couldn’t take back. She didn’t even know what the person’s problem was, what was the cause of his all too somber expression, but uncharacteristically so, she went ahead to talk to him and try to comfort him in an awfully odd manner. “I mean, I didn’t mean it that way.” She stammered, her tongue tied due to the awkwardness. “Am I what?” One of the things that seemed to occur to Joohyun whenever faced with an awkward situation was her slowness of understanding things, and right now was no different.
