OH MY GOD MORT IS A JERK!! NO, HE'S AN ASSHOLE, WOW... Did skimming write him?? Because good job, you guys made me cry as soon as I woke up, and I can't wait for dipper and mabel to arrive.

I do write Mort, yes xD Mort Palmer was created - and I guess sort of debuted - in “Wishful Thinking.” I didn’t have his character completely fleshed out back then, but I knew for certain that he did not care about Wirt’s feelings, wasn’t patient, and didn’t really see Wirt as a person? Which is kind of messed up. And by “kind of,” I mean very.

I made myself cry, too, I promise. And Syl, too. I always cry when Wirt gets so happy about how well things are going with Mort, because I know I’m going to break him. It really hurts to break our babies, though we do it quite frequently.

oh no, I'm dead now. I fear bad stuff may happen because everything's been make out sessions and cute gestures and Mabel and Greg being the best siblings ever and I fear bad things happening eventually. Also not a good idea to have read it at school.

Dipper’s been suppressing things pretty well so far, thanks to all the amazing and surprising distractions Lakeville, city of lakes has to offer

But all things must come to a head eventually. He saw some awful things in that basement, and it’ll catch up soon enough~
