Then I politely have to disagree.

This picture doesn’t take into account two things: head sizing and footing. Out of respect for the OP of that post, I’m going to make my own post about Lance’s height versus Raihan, since I don’t want to make it seem like I’m “correcting” them, rather just pointing some stuff out. Before I start, I should note if you want to believe Lance is taller, then go ahead, but it should be noted that these are silhouettes on a screen, not the actual characters standing next to each other, so really either one could be taller and we'll never know until they're both standing next to each other on frame. That being said, here’s my evidence:

You can clearly see here in a full picture that the Lance’s and Raihan’s silhouettes aren’t on the same “level”, and their heads are different sizes. Lance is bigger than Raihan by proportion, since he (and Leon) are the centers of attention in this banner. Raihan looks smaller by comparison.

Here’s a closer view with their head shapes approximately drawn out. Lance’s head (minus his spicky hair) is bigger when compared to Raihan. People’s heads are about a foot on average, so that’s how you’d match two character’s proportions.

Here’s where is Lance standing (closer green line), and where Raihan is standing (farther orange line).

If we match Raihan’s head size to Lance, and where Raihan is standing to Lance...

There we go. Their heads are the same size, so their proportions are more or less correct, and they’re standing on the same ground. You can clearly see Raihan is taller by about a foot, maybe a little more, which makes more sense if we believe Raihan is much taller than the average person.

Like I said, you can believe what you want, but this is the best guess I can make to their “canon” heights based on this little tidbit we got from the anime. Personally, I like to believe Lance is shorter not only based on this, but since I usually associate Kanto/Johto as Pokémon’s Japan, and Galar as Pokémon’s Britain, and since the average Japanese person is shorter than most of other ethnicities, therefore I like to believe Lance is shorter than Raihan.

I suppose we'll just have to see in the future episodes.
