The Jewleetah and the Placc

The Jewleetah is a beautiful marvelous creature covered in numerous gorgous gemstones instead of spots. People are filled with an intense desire to claim the gems and chase after the Jewleetah to the point of exhaustion. And when they fall over exhausted, the Jewleetah just eats them. It's very vain and constantly is collecting more to adorn it's body. When it's exposed to light, it's pelt inverts in color and gleams a gorgous golden color.

The Placc is frequently seen near the Jewleetah. It is an ugly creature and is mostly just sagging skin and bones. It's constantly weeping and anytime it catches sight of it's apperance, it weeps even more and louder. It constantly bemoans every little thing and it shivers violently all the time due to a lack of hair. It's a carrion, eating whatever the Jewleetah leaves behind and is never too far away from the Jewleetah. Some believe that the Jewleetah ripped all the ugliness out of it's body and that became the Placc.
