Every goddamn day I am reminded that people hate Plague for not being the most aesthetically pleasing flight. I'm not even from Plague and all the "Plague primal is gross and should be removed from the breeding pool" "Plague skins are gross", etc, threads make me sad and angry. I can't imagine what it must be like for people from Plague who love Plague's aesthetic

yknow obviously it’s totally fine to not like body horror/gore/yucky nasty stuff/etc but i kind of wish people who are just already really not into any of that would shut up about plague sometimes. like when people complain about how gross and nauseating they think plague is and how they’re so disgusted by it it’s just, like.. yeah, we get it, we know, you were never going to like any of this, it’s not for you, that’s fine, shut up. if you were bound to never like something in the first place why complain about how much it doesn’t cater to your tastes or sensitivity?
plague is about evil, violence and death? no. plague is about accepting change, embracing disability, adapting to new environments, aiding each other, discovering new ways to flourish and finding family. plaguebinder doesn't want us to suffer, she wants us to live! she wants us to fight and survive and thrive! become ungovernable, even if you defy nature's way! laugh in the face of certain defeat!
the loud minority of plague complainers can’t say staff doesn’t love us anymore because they just gave us the actual best ancient of all the current flights AND it’s still gross and weird and pointy with plaguey yucky terts having crawled out of the literal wyrmwound BUT ALSO well-received and loved by all. every plague clan has been given a kiss on the forehead. soup for everybody
Bro I DREAD that the new ancient is going to get Petals/Butterfly/Glimmer (or Blossom) and it'll look stunning, but one of the like maybe 3 people in Plague who instigate "OH SO PLAGUE CAN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO THEMSELVES? YOU WASTED A GENE SLOT ON NATURE. GREAT." and then people will start calling all Plague users ungrateful and then the Plague users who had no issue rightfully fight back which brings more conflict and just urrrrgh!
