Official first plague runner is underway! Right now he looks like a noodle on stilts, which I honestly really love. I'm definitely excited to keep working on him and shaping him up though.

Hello! It’s me! With some things! Firstly I want to apologize yet again for my silence. I was pretty productive last summer but when it turned to fall everything seemed to kind of peter out. Lots of things came up: holiday trips, busy job, significant other moving in, and other such things. Mostly, though, I found myself completely burnt out from felting after last summer. Since then I’ve been poking at a few different things like the miniature koi/coral ponds and the crocheted Bumblisks, but it was at a pretty slow pace.

Life things are finally seeming to settle down now, and after taking maybe 6 months away from felting, I’m finding myself coming back to it. So here’s some proof that I’ve actually been doing something. I have a few heads cast and sanded and ready to go, and you can see I’ve FINALLY finished my Plague Runner prototype. Poor thing had been sitting unfinished for so long, but now she’s done and I have my physical reference for future Plague Runners. All I have right now are some potato pictures but I’m hoping to go out with the good camera and make a separate post just for her like I did with my Faylotl prototype.

And... yeah! That’s all I’ve got. I’m really hoping to become more active like I was last summer and post more progress pictures for various projects once more. I’m also in the process of designing another kind of doll, but it won’t be needlefelted (mostly) or crocheted. I’m hoping to get that ball rolling pretty quick here too. So, fingers crossed, here’s to a more active summer!

Just showing you I'm not dead! Making slow progress on the plague runner prototype because I'm apparently all thumbs today. Sorry for the silence lately. I've gone back to my day job now which has eaten into most of my time. I probably won't be quite as active for a while.
