A new Plaidified Fairytale emerges: The Princess and the Frog <3

There's a specific type of awkward conversation I was going for that I typically see in shows and movies, and I realized some vibes are hard to capture in a still frame with just text lol.

Anyway, meet Makena (human woman) the amphibian enthusiast, and Amber the tiny prince (fairy man) :)

Here's a goofy/non-serious comic that hints at more of their story (I got a sense of deja vu while drawing this second comic, but I can't for the life of me figure out who they remind me of...):

Feeling tired on your break from work? Have you tried giving your tiny friend a kiss on the head?

Made this partially to add to the "something to take the edge off" trend, partially to draw smth simple but silly and cute, and partially to draw platonic fluff.

I make some OCs specifically to draw in certain styles, and Makena and Amber are made to fit a simple and loose style, perfect for when I want to get the story across without making things look cleaned up and detailed.

Another Plaidified Fairytale: Snow White and the Seven Borrowers (bc ofc I'd find a way to make it g/t lol)

Snow White's home/family life is messy, so she often retreats into nature for peace of mind. On a particularly long excursion, she stumbles upon what she thinks is an abandoned cabin... only to discover that 7 borrower men (aged in their 20s-30s maybe?) have already taken residence there. It only takes a moment for the guys' little hearts to melt over how sweet Snow is, and they immediately start to see her as their little sister. She also has the ability to communicate/tame animals, which was also evidence to the borrowers that she's safe.

And then I added a fun little comic of human Raps and human Fen meeting and instantly becoming friends lol. In their natural/canon sizes, Raps is much larger than Fen, but if they were actual humans, Raps would be the shorter one.

Some more Donnie with mini Raph and some additional mostly-g/t rottmnt sketches :)) Additional sketches include Mikey with mini Raph, my Rise OCs Pepper and Angie (teen/adult ages), and Pepper (kiddo and teenaged versions) with Mama April.

Can't remember if I've shared much about Pepper and Angie on my Tumblr before...? Pepper is a leopard gecko yokai inspired by my friend's pet--I usually draw her around 6ish years old, which is when she gets adopted by April and Donnie. Angie is Pepper's "little" cousin, the biological daughter of Raph and Casey Sr., and the biological sister of Casey Jr.

My babes Adele and Barry :) Messed around with their updated designs while studying tonight.

Credits: I used Google images for refs and was able to trace some of them back to their OG sources, which included a butterfly loc tutorial by TheChicNatural (for Adele's hair), a dark academia fit by villainbyvin on Instagram (for her outfit), and actor Park Bo-gum from Encounter (for Barry's hair, loosely).
