Father son interaction is right here + Cad of course
baby :]
a little progress piece! part of (hopefully) a calendar-style collection. human dusty crophopper from Planes . I think the fandom consensus is that he's ginger so if you'd like, you can squint and pretend that it's just the lighting making him a brunette lol
Had a cute idea of Dusty strolling through the fall forest and HAD to draw it before it left my brain so take this (also love the cute ass animation style they have at the end of the first movie)
I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD AT THIS SHIT Cad somehow got out of there, being almost the last one left (?). I like to imagine that he tried to do something at the last moment but then just started panicking until the crew remembered about him and carried through the most terrible fire. He screamed like a five-year-old girl
Headcanons - Cad's Jewelry
Cad has a collection of jewelry. There are sets in silver and white gold, as well as other metals (including platinum). Cad doesn't wear a different color (but he probably has it for some special occasions, like, today is the day when I put a huge golden signet on my index finger and nothing will stop me). I like to imagine that he is always shouting and thoughtless, but has a clear schedule of the day, structural rituals to attract money and all that. Anyone who has read Pelevin about the number 43, it's the same here, but just in the form of jewelry, for some reason Cad IS SURE that they are his talismans. Well, he also has a costume jewelry to wear it daily (in case it gets stolen, lost, or scratched, but he doesn't feel the same "power" and sometimes he just throws them away) Rings: without stones, with small stones, a dozen rings with one large stone. The stones are either "whiskey-colored" (citrine, patron saint of tradespeople, but Сad chooses only on the basis of alcohol, of course), black (opal, tourmaline, onyx, agate) or clear. Most of them are rectangular in cut. He does not wear a stone on rings with thin rims. There is a variety of chains of different thicknesses and lengths. Usually he wears one of the flat weaves (he does NOT like sparse weavings; the smaller the chain, the more volumetric it is like a python's or fox's tail; the larger it is, the flatter). Steel, white gold and alloys are used as well. For everyday use - silver. He is annoyed that it turns black, but finds it more pleasant and "down-to-earth", unlike bright chains for special occasions (silver does not shine so much) The watches. He usually wears heavy steel ones of the Cartier type, necessarily of a square shape and with a wide strap. Since I didn't think about which particular hand he was wearing them on, the watch jumped from the left to the right. I think Cad is left-handed, but still wears them on the left side. He usually cleans the jewelry himself when he has free time. And almost never takes off his chain and watch, he likes their weight, as if it calms him down. In general, he likes things like a weighted blanket, and the heavier the watch, the faster he falls asleep. Rings are always removed before nighttime procedures and bedtime. He keeps them in a gift box. It's fun to watch him during the hot weather. Firstly, Cad burns TERRIBLY, and secondly, any chain becomes either hellishly cold on sensitive skin, or fried like the devil in the sun. He HATES this feeling and HATES walking in the heat.
