Five years might seem like a short time but there are 1,825 days and 43,800 hours in that time. Memories crammed into months on a calendar, and the brain being the way it was, there was plenty of room for forgetting, especially pacts made while a little tipsy with someone you barely knew.
Five years ago, Bakugo Katsuki's 21st birthday, spent at some bar somewhere with friends and friends of friends that had simply been dragged along that night. You were one of the ones dragged along, lured with the promise of drinks however you liked them and a night out with some attractive pro hero friends who hadn't quite made it big yet.
Somehow you found yourself on the balcony with the birthday boy himself, he'd disappeared a while ago and you were just eager to get away from the crowd for a while, pounding club music wasn't quite your scene. "Why do you seem so sad, birthday boy?" You asked, joining him in leaning on the railing. Inwardly Bakugo flinched, was his turmoil really that obvious?
"Tch, I'm not sad. It's my birthday after all."
You frowned, you'd just met the man tonight but there was this inexplicable sadness about him, almost unnoticeable, but you could tell it was there. It was somewhere in his eyes, especially when couples passed by. Like now, as he glanced down at a laughing couple walking below.
"Tell me, are you lonely? Is that why your eyes look so sad?"
His red eyes met yours after a sip of his beer, liquid courage for opening up to a near stranger. "And what if I am? Sometimes it's hard you know? All my friends are in relationships, happy ones and I'm just here, alone."
Before you could answer, he was off and running, eyes transfixed on the city before you. "And maybe I'll be alone forever. Hell, I haven't exactly been looking, not really. I wasn't nice to people in school, so that's out and I have a fat chance of meeting anyone if I make it big, they'll probably just want to use me for my money."
You swallowed, hoping you wouldn't regret the words that were in your throat. "What about a marriage pact?"
He met your gaze with confusion, surely you couldn't be serious? This had to be some alcohol-fueled nonsense. Why would you, someone he had just met tonight, someone who didn't know any of his hopes or dreams or failures or regrets, want to make a pact like that?
"With me? I surely can't be that bad right? Besides," you lightly touched his arm, "I'm lonely too."
He studied your face for any sign that you were screwing with him, finding none, he took another sip and a light blush ran across his cheeks. "What would the terms be?" He asked after a drawn-out silence, fingers rhythmically tapping on the railing you still leaned on.
You hummed lightly, trying to force your fuzzy brain to think. "5 years? We'll both be 26 then, plenty of time to find someone else."
Bakugo considered your terms then nodded, lips turning up into an uncharacteristic smile, "Alright, that settles it then. If we're both still single by 26, we'll get married."
With a clink of your glasses and a quick entry into the calendar app on both your phones, it was set. A reminder for exactly 5 years in the future, two words long: Marriage pact.
-----
Your phone woke you up with the loudest alarm you had ever heard in your life. Bolting upright in bed you scrambled to turn it off, quickly turning the sound off you set your phone back on the nightstand, rubbing the sleep from your eyes for you to check what alarm had woken you up.
Your mind raced with confusion, then panic as everything came flooding back. Birthday party. Drinks. Balcony. Marriage pact. You hadn't seen the man you made it with in years, how many had it been? 4? 5?
Katsuki Bakugo had made a name for himself as a Pro hero by this point, right now he was probably surrounded by all the models and money he could ever want, would he even remember you? Was he even still single? Where even was his agency?
You found the address, surprisingly only a 20-minute taxi ride from your apartment. 8:30 AM flashed on your alarm clock. Can I catch him before he leaves for patrol?
You rummaged through your closet as your mind filled with flashes of doubt. Does he remember me? Does he even want to see me?
You made it outside and into a cab, leg bouncing with nervousness as you willed time to go faster.
-
Bakugo was at his agency, he'd spent the night here doing paperwork, boring. "Happy birthday to me." He muttered, sitting down at his desk, eyes flicking to the giant stack he still had to complete. If only hero work didn't involve so much paper.
He supposed he should look at his agenda for the day, as he grabbed his phone a notification filled the screen. Marriage Pact. It read. He wracked his brain for what this could possibly mean, but only curse words came to mind.
Before he could collect himself, his assistant knocked on his office door, "Excuse me, sir, there's a L/N F/N here to see you? They're not on the appointment schedule, should I send them away?" His phone clattered to the floor, skittering off to who knows where. "No." He said, more forcefully than intended. Bakugo's heart was pounding. "Send them in."
You were ushered into a spacious waiting room, then a spacious office, and there sat a rather nervous-looking Katsuki Bakugo. As you stood in the doorway, you nearly reached for the doorframe for support. "H-hello. Do you remember me?"
Your voice was soft, shaky, different from how it sounded all those years ago, but he could tell, you were the same person from that night. He stood up, hand wandering to rub his neck, "How could I forget?"
Bakugo strode across the room and shakily extended his hand to you. To his delight, you took it and it just felt right. Your palm seemed to be molded for his and your anxiety melted away. "Breakfast if you have time, birthday boy?"
A smile graced the Pro Hero's features, and you were reminded of the night you met all those years ago. "Of course, anything for you, dear." You chuckled at the pet name, it sounded so strange coming from the burly man. As you walked out into the fresh morning air with the birthday boy, getting to know him like it was the first time, it was awkward and clunky, but really you wouldn't have it any other way.
Hi! Can I get Zora, college AU + locked in a closet? Thank you!
A/N: Hey love! Of course you can, sorry this took a bit. I hope you enjoy it :)
College AU + locked in a closet + Zora Ideale
Bang. Bang. Bang.
You hit your fist against the door for what was probably the millionth time. "There's no one here Y/N, we should just give up until morning." Your companion huffed from his position on the floor, knees tucked to his chest, nonchalant as ever. Whirling around, you fixed him with a glare, "Give up? You do know it's your fault we're in this mess, right?"
A single moth bounced off the lightbulb hanging from the ceiling as you waited for him to answer.
Zora shrugged, "Yeah." He held his watch up in the dim light, "We established that 2 hours ago." Sighing, you sank to the ground, back to the door. You shut your eyes, praying that morning would come faster, or that someone would hear your cries for help.
Today had started out fine enough, you'd spent all day in the chemistry lab working on various assignments during your downtime. The professor had come in at some point and asked you and Zora to clean the lab, put the supplies back in the closet, and lock up when you were done.
The storage closet gave you the creeps if you were honest, it was a cramped, dim space that probably didn't meet government cleanliness standards but nonetheless, you were stuck here. Zora had accidentally knocked the brick that held the door open out of place, sending the door shut with a slam and trapping the two of you inside.
You thought wistfully of your phone, it was currently sitting on one of the benches, next to your laptop and all other communication devices.
You caught Zora peeking at you from behind his arm. "What?" You asked. You didn't know the man very well, he was a lab technician just like you, but you ran in different circles, and in the lab he mostly kept to himself. "Look at the bright side, this is our chance to see if we've got some chemistry." You grimaced, unsure if you were cringing at the terrible joke he just made or at the thought of making out with anyone in this dank closet. "No way." You replied, disgust obvious in your expression. Zora laughed, "I didn't mean it like that. I just meant that maybe we could get to know each other better to pass the time."
"Okay." You said after a while, turning to face him as best you could. Surprisingly the small talk flowed easily off your tongue as you began. You found out all sorts of intriguing things about your companion; he was a biology major hoping to become an entomologist in the future. His favorite color is white, (surprising as he is most often seen in black or blue.) And he wasn't as cynical as he came off as, it was endearing, and you found yourself warming to his presence.
Even though you were trapped in a dank, dark, closet it didn't necessarily feel that way.
The heat kicked off with a clunking sound and soon you began to shiver. Damn building, why can't they keep the heat on at night too?
"Do you want to huddle together?" Zora asked, goosebumps trailing up his arms as he shivered too.
You nodded and he parted his legs, creating a space for you between them. Tentatively, heart pounding, you leaned your back against his chest and he lightly wrapped his arms around you. It wasn't suggestive in any way, but his heart still pounded in his chest, this somehow seemed even more intimate, feeling your breathing, eventually, you both were breathing in time.
The warmth was welcome as the cold seeped in, and you let yourself relax after a while. You felt your eyelids growing heavier by the second, you felt safe and secure in Zora's arms. It was strange, you had barely talked before getting locked in here, and now you were leaning against him, feeling his breathing as if it were your own.
When Professor Enoteca opened the door to the closet the next morning, she couldn't help but smile. The two of you looked so peaceful, your head on his shoulder, his head leaning against the wall. "Good morning sleepy heads!" She said, and you both jolted awake. Zora gingerly unwrapped you from his arms and stretched, shaking as he woke them up.
"I won't ask how you got locked in there, but I sincerely hope there was no funny business going on," Vanessa said, her teasing tone causing Zora to turn almost as red as his hair.
"No ma'am! No funny business here! See you later Y/N." He said as he dashed from the room, wanting to be as far from this conversation as possible.
You smiled as you gathered your things from the lab bench, you'd entered that closet spitting mad, and you'd managed to leave with a friend. Still, there was a lingering warmth in your chest, and you found yourself hoping that someday, he would be more.
hey hey! congrats on 200! :)) was hoping for a normal AU + jealousy makes things clear with Luck?? 🥺🥺❤️
A/N: Thank you! This came out kind of long but I hope you enjoy it. I’m having a lot of fun writing these.
Normal AU + Jealousy makes feelings clear + Luck Voltia
Luck couldn't believe his good fortune when you came back into his life. Once upon a time you'd gone to school together, you weren't quite friends, but you were the only person at that place who wasn't afraid of him and that was something special. You'd eventually found yourself joining the Black Bulls and you'd spent your time growing closer to your new family and to Luck.
Before long, you could handle yourself well and went on several successful missions with members from other squads. Luck admired your progress and determination and somewhere down the line, he found himself wanting to fight alongside you forever. Purely as friends, he'd say, and you'd nod along very seriously. After all, the two of you dating? Who could see that happening? Keyword, everyone but the two of you.
"Soo, who are you asking to the inter-squad ball Luck?" Magna asked as they sat down for a bite after a mission. Luck shrugged, "I dunno, probably no one I guess. There's no one to ask anyway."
Magna paused mid-bite, "Seriously? Why not ask Y/N to be your date?" Luck's face involuntarily scrunched up, "No way! Y/N is like-- a sibling to me. That would just be weird." Magna frowned but relented, no amount of protest would change his mind if he'd made it up. "Okay, but don't come crying to me when some hottie from another squad comes along and scoops them up." Luck set his fork down with a snort, "I won't."
You were running a few errands in town when you heard your name called. "Hey! Y/N!" You turned to find Alfion running your way, waving his arm to catch your attention. "Oh hello! It's nice to see you again so soon." The two of you had returned from a joint mission just the week before and you'd gotten rather close even though he was in the Aqua Deer. He was smart, funny, skilled at strategizing, an all-around good guy.
He awkwardly played with the ring on his finger, cheeks hot with embarrassment. "I uh, I was wondering if… if you'd like to go to the ball with me?" You cocked your head, this was certainly an unexpected question, not necessarily an unwelcome one, but you weren't sure if a relationship was in your best interest at the moment. Taking note of your pause he continued, "As friends of course! Haha like, me asking you on a date when I just met you a month ago would be totally inappropriate and--"
You raised your hand and his jaw shut. "Alfion. I would love to, let's go together--- as friends." You quickly added, and Alfion smiled. "Yes of course! I'm so glad you said yes. Pick you up the night of?"
"That would be lovely, see you then." And with that you made your way back to the Black Bulls base, steps lighter than when you had left.
You returned to find Finral, Luck, Vanessa, and Noelle in the common room. Finral greeted you with a wave but stopped midway, "Ooh you have a pep in your step this afternoon Y/N! Did something good happen while you were out?" You couldn't help the smile that raised your cheeks, "Yes actually. Guess who has a date to the ball!"
You were practically ambushed as Vanessa and Noelle gasped excitedly, "For real? That's so exciting! Who is it?" You tried to ward off the interrogation but it was to no avail.
"Okay, okay!" You relented, "My friend Alfion from the Aqua Deer asked me." Vanessa smiled, "Oh! That cutie with the snow magic?" When you nodded Noelle grabbed your hands, "Shopping. Tomorrow. We're going to pick an outfit that will knock his socks off."
No one noticed as Luck slipped out the door, fingertips crackling with electricity. It was too bad because if he had stayed for 10 more seconds, he wouldn't have anything to be upset about.
"O-okay that sounds fun but we're just going as friends."
-
Luck was fuming, and the worst part was, he wasn’t even sure what he was upset about. You were grown, you were perfectly capable of making your own decisions and choices, so why was he so upset? “Stupid.” He punched a tree, lightning scarring its surface. “Stupid.” He punched over and over again, repeating the same word over and over again.
Magna heard the explosions through the trees and came over to investigate. Seeing Luck, he thought he could guess what happened. “Hey buddy, let’s take it easy on the poor tree okay?” Luck stopped his hand an inch away from the tree and sighed, deactivating his lightning. “What’s the matter, Luck?” Luck crossed his arms, lip stuck out in an angry pout. “Who does that guy think he is? Asking Y/N to the ball like that? I oughta give him a piece of my mind.” He paced around the clearing, spatting angry words, feet nearly wearing a new path into the ground. Magna watched on for a while, then decided this temper tantrum had gone on long enough. “Enough!” He yelled, and Luck stopped in his tracks.
“Do you even know why you’re upset right now?” Luck shook his head, fists beginning to ball up again. “Is it because Y/N is going with Alfion?” Luck’s face scrunched in protest, “No. Maybe, I don’t know! Why are they going together anyway? Who the hell names their kid Alfion, anyway?” Magna sighed, “Did you ever think that maybe you’re jealous?”
Luck whirled around, eyes wide, “No way! What do I have to be jealous of?” Magna threw his hands up in defeat, “Exactly! Have you ever thought about Y/N’s feelings about it? They might not even have feelings for each other.” Luck snorted, “Fat chance. Who doesn’t have feelings for Y/N?”
Magna blinked in surprise, that statement was quite the implication coming from Luck. When he realized what he had just admitted, Luck covered his mouth, cheeks red at the realization that he was indeed jealous. There was silence until Magna cleared his throat, “Well, if that’s the case, then ask Y/N to dance with you sometime during the night, be honest about your feelings.” Luck perked up, “Yeah, you know what Magna you’re right!” “I am?” “Yeah, I’ll just keep them away from each other for as long as possible! You’re a genius.”
Before Magna could protest, Luck had bounded away, happy that he had found a solution to his problem.
-
The night of the ball arrived, you were dressed up in fancy attire, your hair was done, you could honestly say you felt like royalty. Alfion knocked on the door to the Black Bulls base and was met with Yami’s enormous figure at the door. Yami put on his best intimidating dad face and made it a point of having a gruffer voice than usual, “You better have Y/N home in one piece, if I see a single tear on their face, I’ll kill you.” “Y-yes, sir.” Alfion stammered, and you squeezed past Yami and out into the night.
“I am so sorry about him, Captain Yami gets pretty protective of us.” You said, taking Alfion’s arm. He chuckled, “No worries, it’s great that you have such a kind Captain.” That might be an understatement, you thought.
You made it to the ball and Alfion escorted you in, hand at the small of your waist. “Want to grab food first, or dance first?” You thought for a moment, but before you could answer, Luck was whisking you away. “Sorry I need to borrow Y/N for a moment.” He called your date. “Um, okay,” Alfion replied, but you were out of sight.
“What do you want Luck? I’m a little busy if you couldn’t tell.” Luck chuckled, “Oh nothing! I just wanted to say hello.” You sighed, “And you needed to steal me away for that? I’m heading back to my date now.”
You caught sight of Alfion’s white locks over the sea of heads, and you wormed your way through the crowd to his side at the buffet table. “Hey, you’re back! What was that all about?” You shook your head with a grimace, “It was nothing, just a squadmate saying hello.” Alfion met your gaze with a smile, “Oh I see, well, I got you some food.” You took it gratefully and made light small talk with your companion about the party, how fancy everyone looked.
Alfion asked you to dance, and you lightly took his hand as he led you to the dance floor. Soon after, Luck cut in, but he was a terrible dancer and stepped on your feet. Luck’s interruptions didn’t stop there though, throughout the night he interjected and got in the way of you and your date. Finally, you’d had enough, “I’ll be right back, heading to the bathroom.”
Alfion took his chance and practically dragged Luck out to the veranda. “What’s the big idea man?” He asked, “Why are you trying to separate Y/N and I?” Luck refused to look him in the eye, instead looking out at the courtyard. “You don’t deserve Y/N.” He said simply. Alfion blinked in surprise, “Seriously? That’s what this is about? You’re jealous because I’m out with Y/N tonight?”
“So what if I am?” Luck yelled, blue eyes daring Alfion to make a move. “Y/N is smart and beautiful and strong, and you don’t deserve to even breathe the same air.” Alfion sucked on his teeth as he connected the dots, Ah, this must be the childhood friend Y/N was talking about. He must have feelings too. “You’re right, I don’t. But the way you’re acting, you don’t deserve to either. Have you told Y/N?”
“Told me what?” You returned at that moment, it had taken a while to find your date after cooling off in the bathroom. “Uh, nothing?” Luck offered, looking up at you guiltily. “Unbelievable, let’s go Alfion. Leave us alone Luck, I don’t appreciate you harassing my date.”
You had an enjoyable rest of the night with Alfion, but you couldn’t shake the feeling that you were missing some information. You decided to take a walk in the garden with him, paths lit up with magic lanterns. “Hey,” You said softly, Alfion met your gaze, “Did Luck, say anything when he was with you?” Alfion frowned, unsure of what the best move was, “I think you should talk to him about it. He may not have chosen the right way to deal with it, but I think…” He paused to take a breath, “I think he’s hurting right now.” You nodded thoughtfully, heart shifting between annoyance and worry for Luck.
“Is it--?” Alfion nodded, though it pained him to do so, he really did like you, “Go look for him, I’ll be around to take you home.” Breathing a thank you, you took off to find Luck.
You found him leaning against a wall, drinking punch and sulking. “Hey, can we talk?” He nodded and pushed off the wall. You found yourself in a remote part of the castle, near a window overlooking the garden. “What’s the matter, Luck? Why have you been acting out tonight?” Luck frowned, setting his cup down on the sill. “I think I'm jealous.”
“Jealous? Of who?” Then it hit you, he was jealous of Alfion. “Alfion? Seriously Luck he’s just a friend.” Luck’s frown turned into a guilty one as he stared into his glass. “Yeah, after talking with him I realized that.” You bit your lip and sighed, “What did you say to him exactly?” “Nothing I won’t apologize to him later for.”
You swallowed, “I see.” The silence was heavy as you both paused to think about what to say next. “Why exactly are you jealous? Is it because I’m with Alfion tonight even though I’ve known you longer?” He shook his head, “Not exactly.” “Then what is it?”
Luck swallowed, pride, nervousness, fear, he tried to force them all down. “Because, I think you’re the most beautiful, special person I’ve ever known, and my heart couldn’t bear to see you with another man.” The realization hit you like a ton of bricks, it was almost painful how neither of you had noticed it before. At the end of the day, for him, it had always been you. And for you, it had always been him.
On the nights you were lonely, letters were sent to be read in the morning. Mornings were spent laughing over breakfast, hands brushing as you passed the pancake syrup. There wasn’t a day that went by that you didn’t make the other smile, and it had taken years to see it. The reason you were never interested in anyone else, was because you already had everything you wanted.
Tears pricked in your eyes, and you willed them not to fall, but they did like stars from the sky. “Oh Y/N,” Luck gently wiped your tears with a thumb, “I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to hurt you with that, I can leave if you want.” “No!” It came out more forcefully than you intended, echoing down the hallway. “Okay, I won’t leave then.” “Promise? Promise you’ll never leave?” Your words carried the weight of an admission you never thought you’d make, heart beating faster than ever.
In the dark hallway, Luck leaned to kiss you, and just as your lips met, the fireworks signaling the end of the ball began. It was tender and sweet, not rough and wild like you had been expecting. You pulled away, remembering that your date was still taking you home. “I need to go find Alfion, see you at home?” Luck nodded, and you set off.
This time you didn’t take Alfion’s hand or his arm, but he didn’t mind. As he stopped near the hideout he paused before you parted ways. “Tell me, are you happy?” You nodded, tears pricking your eyes, “Yes, I am. Happier than ever.” Alfion smiled, willing the tears threatening to fall to stay in their place, “then that’s all that matters. Perhaps in another life, I would be the source of that happiness.” You gave him a soft smile, “Perhaps. You have a nice night Alfion.”
You found Luck on the roof of the hideout after you changed, and you spent the night under the stars, getting to know your childhood friend in a whole new light.
For the followers event, could you do Bodyguard AU with Iida with either the sick and too stubborn to get help or the kiss me, my ex is coming? I love your writing! Thank you!
A/N: Hi dear! I went with the sick and too stubborn prompt, thanks for requesting!!
Bodyguard AU + you’re sick and too stubborn to get help so it’s up to me + Tenya Iida
“Is all this really necessary?” You huffed, arms crossed, feet glued to the marble floor of the hotel lobby. “For the last time Y/N, it is. Your family--” You cut him off with a wave of your hand. “I don’t care what my family said. This is a hero expo! How could I possibly get into trouble at a hero expo? The place is literally crawling with heroes, I won’t be in any danger if I go alone.”
Tenya pushed his glasses up with a glare. “Actually, expos like this can be very dangerous for the average person. You could be robbed, trampled, any number of things could put you in danger.” “And I could get hit by a car while crossing the street back home. What’s your point?” You retorted with a roll of your eyes. You had come to the city with the intention of enjoying yourself at this year’s Hero Expo, but your family had insisted your bodyguard come along and it was really killing your mood.
Your eyes darted, looking for any way to escape the situation you were in. Aha, there! You tugged on the velvet rope near the entrance, sending stanchions falling in a pile between you and Tenya. Bursting out the front door, you ran and ran, not caring that it was raining, much less that you weren’t dressed for the cold. You ducked into a store and quickly bought a baseball cap in an attempt to disguise yourself, then you hurried to the convention center.
So far there was no sign of Tenya anywhere, and you felt like you could breathe again as you went through security, the cap pulled low on your head. There were exhibits and booths as far as the eye could see, new support equipment, action figures, signed posters, and photo opportunities; it was like a dream. As you took in the sights and smells and sounds, you were suddenly transported back to your childhood. Watching those heroes on TV, wanting so desperately to be one.
Unfortunately, fate had other plans, and here you were, an ordinary citizen attending a Hero Expo. As the day wore on, you began to feel miserable, sneezing, and coughing, attracting a lot of looks from other people. “Are you okay?” One woman asked. You nodded, “Yes ma’am. Just a little tired I think. I’ll be going soon, no need to worry.” “Okay, be careful.” She replied, frowning as you walked away.
You made your way back to the hotel, it had stopped raining long ago, only drips from the street signs and clouds left from the earlier storm. Your arms were tired, but you couldn’t tell if it was from the armfuls of things you carried, or if you were sick. Tenya sat in a chair in your room, arms crossed, bristling at your earlier antics. He ranted and raved but you hardly heard a word of it. “And did you have a good time?” You set your things on the desk, “Yeah. I guess so.”
Your voice was tired, and your eyes dull. Tenya raised a worried eyebrow and strode to your side. He gently placed a hand on your forehead, then pulled away with a hiss, as if you had burned him. “You’re burning up! We need to get you to a doctor right away.” You grabbed his arm before he could move to grab the phone.
“No. No way, I’m fine. Just need rest. That’s an order.” His frown deepened as he helped you to the bed. Technically, he couldn’t refuse an order from you and so though it pained him, he complied. I guess I’ll have to do it myself. Once you had made up your mind, there would be no convincing you. His mouth twitched as he watched you stubbornly try to stay awake as he got a cool washcloth for you. You were asleep by the time he was finished, breathing deep and even.
He sat next to your bedside, watching your face for a moment as you slept. He got the urge to lightly kiss your forehead and he violently shook his, trying to clear the thought away. He surely couldn’t develop feelings for you, even though you were close in age, he was still your bodyguard, it would be very inappropriate for him to do so. Gently he placed the cool cloth on your forehead, frowning as you flinched in your sleep at the sudden cold.
He remained by your bedside for hours until you awoke, replacing the cloth when needed, lightly squeezing your hand as you reached out for something. He could almost fall asleep.
He awoke to you shaking his shoulder.“Tenya,” you whispered, “Tenya!” Bolting upright he blinked the sleep from his eyes, hand still holding yours. He snatched his hand away, holding it to his chest with a blush on his cheeks. “Sorry about that, you were reaching out so I took it.”
You gave him a soft smile, “It’s okay, I actually… didn’t mind that much.” Your cheeks warmed at the admission, and you looked away bashfully. Neither of you met eyes, preferring to look anywhere else in the room but each other. “Are you feeling better after your nap?” He asked, voice hushed but still breaking the silence. “Much. Thanks, for you know, everything.”
Tenya smiled, “Of course Y/N.” You slowly turned to face him, biting your lip nervously. “You know, I wouldn’t mind if you held my hand more often.” Tenya’s cheeks turned bright red, “Oh, well, I, uh--” he stammered, unsure of how to respond. You smiled, it wasn’t often your stoic bodyguard became flustered. “Look,” you said decisively, “We can handle telling my family later, for now, just hold it.”
He sat up, swallowing as he adjusted in the seat. “Okay, if you say so.” He took your hand, and you gripped it, using the extra leverage and element of surprise to pull him closer to you. You planted a chaste kiss on his forehead, pushing his hair out of the way. Tenya met your eyes, he looked so nervous, so unsure, and so were you, but that didn’t matter. The only thing that did was this moment, your hands, intertwined, resting in your lap. For now, the world could wait.
HI Sol you're wonderful I hope you dont mind me requesting again :D if that's a problem you're welcome to skip this and delete it BUTTTTT I was hoping for some Normal!AU Luck x reader "it’s your last chance to admit your feelings" for your 200 follower event? <33 tysm! A/N: Hey!! Sorry this took so long, I hope you like this one too🥰
Normal AU + it’s your last chance to admit your feelings + Luck Voltia
From the moment you met him, you fell for Luck. His boundless energy was endearing, and his thirst for life was something to be admired. You became fast friends, even if you were a bit shy at first, sharing meals, sparring. But despite all that, there was always a part of you that wished for more.
You didn't want to be just a friend. You wanted to feel like you meant something. Every time your hands brushed you fought the urge to intertwine your fingers with his, to feel the weight of his palm in yours. It was almost painful, the way you would shove the feelings down, was it okay to feel this way? Would it be selfish of you to want to stay with only him forever, screw everything else?
Either way, time was running out.
He was assigned to a small group of mages to go on an infiltration mission. It would be long, no contact. It was dangerous, and your heart ached as the what-ifs raced through your head at night.
"What's the matter Y/N?" Luck asked from across the table. You had been absentmindedly staring into your glass of water for a while now, trying to work up the courage to say how you felt. I love you, I've been in love with you. Since the moment I laid eyes on you I knew that this was meant to be something and now youre leaving and I don't know if I can handle that.
You sighed lightly and smiled, forcing your eyes to crinkle more than usual. "There's nothing wrong, don't worry."
He frowned, I can tell you're lying. "Okay, if you say so." As you walked to your room, you weren’t sure if you were more upset with him or yourself. You wanted to throttle him, if he just pressed a little more, maybe you’d get the courage to tell him, maybe you’d feel like he was interested in the answer. It was your fault for not communicating, you should just get it over with, get rejected and be done.
Regret sat heavy in your heart as you laid on the floor, fingers picking at the threads of your rug. The days to spend with Luck were numbered, so why were you lying here on the floor, tears pricking in your eyes as you thought about how much you’d miss him while he was gone. It wouldn’t matter much in the end, no matter his answer he’d be taking your heart with him.
There was a light knock at your door. “Yes?” You croaked, cursing the way the word stuck in your throat.
“Hey can we go for a walk?” You tensed, it was Luck. “Uh, sure. Hold on.” You called, pulling yourself from the floor. Quickly you wiped your tears in the mirror, and with a deep breath you opened the door, plastering a smile on your face.
You forced your legs to move, to follow him down the hallway and outside into the forest. It was almost mechanical, the way you went, your mind was elsewhere. Luck suddenly stopped, and you bumped into him with an ‘oof.’
He turned to face you and you were shocked to see tears in his eyes. “Luck,” you felt panic in your chest, “What’s the matter?” Luck wiped his eyes on his sleeve, “What’s the matter with me? What’s the matter with you?” You blinked, confused, could he have figured it out? When you didn’t answer, he continued, balling his hands into shaky fists.
“Why won’t you talk to me? Did I do something wrong?” Your heart sank at his earnest question. All the time you spent in your own head, Luck had been worried about you, worried that he had done something to hurt you. You fought the urge to cup his cheeks with your clammy hands. Instead you grabbed his hand, squeezing it in your own.
“Oh no no no, you didn’t do anything Luck.” You tried to reassure him, but he couldn’t tear his eyes from yours. His voice was low, but it resonated in your bones. “Then why?” You could feel the pain in it, and with a sharp intake of breath you realized you were crying too. You covered your eyes with an arm, you didn’t want to look at him as you confessed. Maybe it was selfish of you to hope he’d accept your feelings, but you didn’t want to look.
With a shaky breath, you decided to take the plunge. “Because I’m in love with you.”
For a long moment, Luck was silent, and you feared the worst. The water was icy cold, it made you want to gasp and recoil, run away from the words you’d just spoken. Then, you felt a warm touch on your arm. It was light, like a feather, but you allowed your arm to be pushed down. Your watery eyes met his blue ones, watery just like your own. He took his arms and wrapped them around you, pulling you into a warm embrace.
“I love you too.”
Tears fell and mixed together, as you let out all of your emotions in the form of water. Regret and loneliness mixed with love and excitement for a new chapter. Trees rustled as you held each other close, the melody of hearts coming together.
After a long while, you parted and you allowed Luck to grab your hand and hold it. It felt just as good as you had dreamed.
Roommate AU+ Bakugou + jealousy makes feelings clear. Thanks :)

Roommate AU + jealousy makes feelings clear + Bakugo Katsuki
Moving to the city after graduation was like a dream, and there was only one obstacle in your way; there was no way you could afford to live here without a roommate. Luckily, a friend of a friend was looking and after the first meeting you were sold. Katsuki Bakugo was a relatively quiet roommate, as long as you were respectful of personal space and not too messy. The tension began when you came home late one night and found Bakugo sitting at the kitchen table. He looked like a dad, glasses perched on his nose as he looked at the papers in front of him.
“Hey! How was work?” You greeted, taking off your shoes and putting them neatly on the rack near the door. Bakugo grunted, setting the papers down on the table, “Fine, normal patrol as usual.” “Great!” You walked over to the fridge and poured yourself a glass of water, taking a deep drink to quench your thirst. Bakugo glanced at the clock, you were home way later than usual and for some reason that ticked him off. “You look nice tonight. Out on a date?” Choking, you set your glass on the counter, “Maybe. Don’t you have to patrol early? Night!” Before he could ask more questions you dashed to your room, picking out some pajamas. “Night.” He said quietly, packing his papers away; you were right, he did have patrol early.
Maybe? What is that supposed to mean? Is Y/N trying to piss me off tonight? He tried to ignore the giggling coming from your room; it was probably you talking to your friends about your date. Bakugo tried to shake the thoughts from his head, it was really none of his business what you did in your free time, it’s not like you were best friends or anything. You were just roommates, right? So why was he here in bed staring at the ceiling, thoughts filled with you and an empty feeling in his chest.
The next day he asked Kirishima to meet him for lunch, maybe he’d have some insight into his feelings. “So what’s up Katsuki? Normally you’re way too busy for lunch.” Kirishima asked. Bakugo frowned, “What, a guy can’t just ask his friend out to lunch?” With a laugh, Kirishima joined him at the table, “Yeah, you can. Just wondering if something is bothering you.” Bakugo took a bite of his sandwich to avoid the question, a telltale sign that something was indeed bothering him. “Aha I knew it, what’s the problem?”
There it was, that pit in his stomach that had been bothering him since your interaction last night. “I think Y/N went on a date last night.” Kirishima had to bite his cheek to keep from laughing, “Is that all?” Bakugo coughed, “What do you mean is that all? I don’t care about that. I just want to know who it was and if they deserve to be around Y/N. And I want to know why my chest feels all weird about it.” The gears turned in Eijirou’s head as he realized what was going on, the emotionally awkward Bakugo Katsuki was jealous.
Kirishima took a breath to process this information, he knew the day his friend was romantically jealous would come one day, but he definitely wasn’t expecting it to be towards his roommate. “Do you want my honest answer?” Bakugo took a sip of his drink, “Duh, I wouldn’t have asked otherwise.” “Katsuki,” He said seriously, trying to break the news to him as gently as possible, “Have you considered the possibility that you might be jealous?”
Bakugo nearly choked on his water, “Jealous? No way. As if I’d want to date Y/N.” Bingo. “Did I say you wanted to? I simply asked if you were jealous, that could be that you were jealous someone else was spending time with your roommate.”
Bakugo clenched and unclenched his fist, “It’s not just that. It was the giggling. And the fact that I didn’t get a straight answer when I asked if it was a date.” Kirishima shrugged, “I’m just giving you my honest opinion. I think you might be jealous, whether it’s romantically or not is something you need to figure out on your own.” Kirishima’s watch beeped, signaling that his patrol was due to start again soon. “Look, I have to get going, but if you want to talk about this more later feel free to call me.”
He spent the rest of the day distracted, and confused. He knew his head should be more in the game but he couldn’t bring himself to do it. He had never felt like this before, and that was scarier than facing any villain.
When he wandered through the door that night, emotionally exhausted, you were on the couch, flashing him that damned smile of yours. You’d smiled at him before, but suddenly it seemed sharper, more in focus, like a knife jamming into his chest and twisting his feelings around. All at once he had come to the intimidating realization that he was afraid to lose that smile, to lose you.
It was like a wall had been placed before him, complete with spikes that would surely rip him open if he dared go through it, but that was the only way. He'd have to rip down the walls of his heart to get through.
Bakugo seemed off when he opened the door, he looked saddened by your smile, and he didn’t answer to the call of his name; he hadn't even taken off his hero costume yet. You set the book you were reading down and you untangled yourself from the blankets, coming to his side. He sat on the bench near the door head in his hands, breathing heavily. You lowered yourself onto the floor, hoping to get a look at his face.
Gently, you were afraid to scare him, you placed a hand on his knee. He glanced up at you, expression hollow until you reached up to cup his face. "Katsuki," you said softly, "are you okay?" Your heart was beating fast out of concern, he'd never been this vulnerable around you in your year of living here, not even when a mission went bad.
His senses were flooded, your hand warm on his cheek, he could smell your shampoo from here, his eyes met yours and your look of concern was obvious. Is this what it means to fall in love? Is pining supposed to hurt so much? "I don't know." He said hoarsely.
You gave him a small smile, "I'm here. Can I go into your room and grab you some clothes?" He nodded, he didn't want his voice to shake again. You stood up gingerly and walked into his room, you'd only been in here a handful of times but you knew roughly where the essentials were located. Sweatpants, a tshirt, you stacked a pile of clothes in your arms and set them on the bathroom counter, before reaching in and turning the shower on. You walked out, and saw that your roommate still hadn't taken off the hardware of his costume.
"Can I help?" He nodded, and you gently unlaced his boots and unhooked the grenades from his arms, setting them on the floor next to the bench he sat upon. Every accidental brush had his skin alight with a painful fire. "Shower's on for you. I'll be here when you get out."
As Bakugo showered you paced around the kitchen, on edge with nervousness. What's wrong with him? Did something happen? Did I do something wrong? Oh he'll probably need some water, I'll get him some. You filled a glass with ice and water and set it on the counter, then downed a glass of your own. You resumed your pacing, so deep in thought that you didn't notice the bathroom door clicking open and your roommate padding into the kitchen. "That worried about me?" You jumped, "What?" It took you a moment to register the question. "Of course I am. How are you supposed to react when your hero roommate walks in the front door in shambles? You really scared me Katsuki."
His cocky smile from a moment before fell when he heard the shakiness of your voice. He sighed, hand coming to rest on his forehead, the towel around his shoulders fell to the floor. “I really am a mess aren’t I? I’m sorry for making you worry.” You watched as he walked to the counter, “This for me?” You nodded and he picked it up, the cold glass felt like nothing compared to the clamminess of his hands. He could tell you wanted to say something so he fixed his gaze on you, cherry eyes piercing in the low light of the kitchen.
“Do you want to talk about it, or do you need space?” Half of you wished he would say yes to the talk, let you in, but the other half wanted to run away, to retreat to your bedroom until things were back to normal. To your surprise, Bakugo cleared his throat, a simple sure leaving his throat. He joined you on the couch and you both sat cross legged wrapped up in blankets and facing each other. Now that he had agreed, Bakugo felt slightly overwhelmed; talking about his feelings had never been his strong suit, but here he was, about to bear his soul to someone for the first time in a while.
Your eyes never left his, even though every fiber of your being wanted to tear them away. He took a deep breath, unsure of what to say or even where to start. “I’ve felt all mixed up today, and it’s painful.” Sucking in a breath, you nodded, “Okay, well do you know what has you so mixed up?” “I think so,” he said softly, “But that scares me more than anything.”
You didn’t have the words to respond, he’d never been this honest before. “It scares me because I’ve never felt like this before. It’s like, I’ve found someone-- something I’m afraid to lose.” The word someone hit you straight in your gut, Does he have feelings for someone?
“Just tell me one thing, was last night, actually a date?” You sucked in a breath of surprise, that was certainly an unexpected question; is that what had him all mixed up inside? You leaned forward, resting your chin on your hands, “No, it wasn’t. I was just messing with you, I had no idea it’d affect you this much.” “Good.” Bakugo blurted, he then realized the implication of his reply and quickly clapped a hand over his mouth.
A spark went off in your head and you tried to contain a smile. “Are you telling me, that the great Katsuki Bakugo has a crush on me?” You asked, batting your eyelashes up at the man sitting across from you. He immediately looked away, “What? No. … Maybe.” Despite his protest, he took a hopeful glance at you, hoping to discern how you were feeling. To his surprise, you had a grin on your face. “Would it be bad if I say I hoped so?” Bakugo broke out into a grin, “Not at all.”
You grabbed a throw pillow from behind you and smacked him with it before he could react. “Hey! What was that for?” He asked indignantly, hand cupping his face. “That’s for making me worry so much you doofus, I thought something was seriously wrong with you!” Bakugo’s eyes crinkled with a grin, “Would all be forgiven if I gave you a kiss?” You tapped your chin thoughtfully, as if pondering the suggestion, truthfully you had wanted to kiss him months ago. “Maybe. Wanna test it out?” “Absolutely.”
You both leaned forward, closing the distance between you and sending that massive wall crumbling down.

College AU + quick my ex is coming, kiss me + Zora Ideale
Tall, handsome, mysterious, Zora Ideale was quite the intriguing individual and you decided to make it your mission to get to know him. From basic introductions you’d figured out he was a communications major which was a little ironic considering his prickly personality and one word answers. Occasionally, he did give long winded speeches, they were easy to understand and drew the listener in with every word. He sat in the back of the class, same row as you and you often found yourself staring straight ahead than risk zoning out while looking at him.
Zora often found himself stealing glances at you during class. Despite getting his heart broken just last month and his vow to “never open up again” he found his heart wanting to get to know you. It was almost the end of the semester, a big speech on a randomly assigned topic. He glanced over at you, feigning a stretch and noticed your frown. It looked as if you were stumped. Maybe this is my chance.
“Stuck?” a voice next to you asked. You turned to look up at the speaker and were shocked to find Zora turned to face you; he hardly ever spoke in class at all, and it certainly didn’t seem like he was one to waste time talking with others. You nodded with a frown and tossed your pen onto the desk. “Yeah, I have no idea how to start this speech.” You lamented.
You’d already used up most of your personal anecdotes throughout the term, and the topic for this speech was a persuasive one, Why shouldn’t men wear skinny jeans? You felt totally out of your element here, in your opinion, skinny jeans were fine on men, especially when those men were named Zora Ideale. Zora smiled, “Want to work on it together over coffee?” Your cheeks heated up at the proposition, “Um, sure! I’d love to.”
“Great, see you at the cafe at 4 PM.” He waved as he slipped out of the row. Class still had 5 minutes but the professor didn’t mind if you left early, after all, he was getting paid either way. You blinked, did that really just happen? A study date?
The rest of the day went by in a flash, a combination of excitement and nervousness bubbled in your chest. Alright Y/N, don’t read too much into this. He’s just helping you with your speech, no big deal.
You stood outside the cafe but Zora was nowhere to be found. Frowning, you peered through the window, but there was no sign of his bright red hair inside. Suddenly the tree behind you rustled and you heard a thud as someone jumped down. You jumped and whirled around to find Zora, “Geez, that’s the second time you’ve startled me today.” He let out a chuckle, “Sorry about that, shall we?”
You nodded and he opened the door for you. The warmth of the cafe was welcome after the cold walk across campus. Peeling off your gloves, you lightly blew on your hands in an attempt to warm them up. “What do you want? I can get it.” Zora asked. “Oh, are you sure?” You asked, feeling a little bad he was spending money on you. “I wouldn’t have offered if I wasn’t sure.”
“Got it.” Straight to the point, I like it. “Um, I’ll have a hot chocolate please.” “Alright, be back in a flash.”
He paid and returned to your side, making small talk as you waited for your drinks to be ready. When his name was called he sauntered up to the counter and returned, passing your drink to you. You took it gratefully and moved to sit at a table but he shook his head, “I have an even better place.” You followed him out the door, confused, but you supposed that this was a good way to get to know him better. He led you to a small covered area, it looked to be an outdoor theater, a stage at the bottom and steps for the audience to sit on.
You picked a spot near a heating lamp and Zora laid out a blanket to sit on. “You came prepared.” You noted, smiling as you took a seat next to him. The cold forgotten, you sat and worked on the project for a while, bouncing ideas off of each other and typing away.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen you talk this much, Zora.” You commented, not that you minded the sound of his voice, it was just strange that he was actually opening up. He bit his lip, a strange expression for the usually cool and collected man. “Sorry if it’s bothering you, I tend to talk a lot when I’m nervous.” Nervous? Why would he be nervous right now? You frowned, confused, “Do I… make you nervous or something?”
Before he could respond, a loud group of people started talking nearby, probably on their way to dinner. Zora froze as he picked out his ex’s voice among them. He knew they’d probably stop to talk and that was the last thing he wanted, not when he was so close to moving on. You noticed his stiff reaction and you cocked your head in confusion. “Quick my ex is coming, kiss me. Please.” Taken aback by his request you shrank away, why would he ask something like that? But the voices were getting closer, his ex must be among them, and he was helping you with this speech after all. And he bought you hot chocolate.
Pushing your inhibitions to the side you surged forward and kissed him, heart pounding. Is this really happening right now? I get to kiss my crush? It felt almost electric, he somehow tasted like mint and coffee and sugar all at once. As the voices faded, you pulled away, cheeks warmed by more than just the heat lamp. Your mind was racing as you waited for Zora’s explanation. Both of you were frozen, neither one wanting to make the first move.
Zora cleared his throat. “I’m sorry about that. I panicked when I heard their voice, I knew they’d want to talk and I couldn’t see another way out.” You bit your lip, “I see.” So that’s all it was, a distraction. “I would say it was just meant as a distraction, unless, you have some feelings too?”
Too? Did that mean?
“What do you mean? Does that mean you--?” He cut you off with a small nod, and looked down at the blanket. You swallowed, “Oh.” Your hot chocolate was long gone, no way to use it as an excuse for time to think. “I gotta go. See you in class.” You said, you hated to leave him without an answer but definitely needed time to think about the events of the day.
Zora’s heart ached. I messed up, bad. He came to class early, hoping to catch you before it started to apologize but you weren’t there. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. I probably wouldn’t show up either.
You walked in soon after class started and he expected you to sit somewhere else, to not even look his way but to his surprise, you came to his row, and instead of your normal seat, you chose the one right next to him. “Next coffee’s on me.” You said quietly as you sat down. And with those four words, a surge of hope. He wasn’t sure if he was forgiven, but he’d be damned if he wouldn’t try to earn it.

Neighbor AU + one catches the other doing something embarrassing + Yami Sukehiro
Moving to a new town all by yourself was never easy but you did it, you needed to move closer to your job and it was just your luck that you were able to find an affordable townhouse to rent. It was a beautiful home, the spruce lawn in the front and back, bushes placed artfully around the property. It was ideal, close to your job, a relatively quiet area, and a cute neighbor to boot. Your neighbor was an interesting man, not only was he around your age, he was a hunk and drove a motorcycle.
The first time you met him, you’d just unpacked the last box and there was a knock on your door. You opened the door to find a man around your age, awkwardly holding a bag of Chinese takeout. “Hi, I’m your neighbor. I tried to make cookies but they got burned so I brought takeout instead as a welcome.” Your cheeks were on fire, this was your neighbor?! What is this a romcom? “Oh hello, I’m Y/N nice to meet you. Want to come in and eat with me? I’m starving.”
And so you welcomed your neighbor Yami Sukehiro into your house for the first time.
On a normal Tuesday afternoon, you awoke from a nap to the most awful squealing you’d ever heard. It was concerning, normally Yami’s side of the house was quiet and you certainly had never heard a noise like this before. You went around the front and knocked on his door, “Yami? Is everything okay?” “Oh crap,” You heard him say, “You stay right there, or I’ll kill you, you hear?” You flinched, taken aback, is he threatening me?! Yami opened the door, looking quite frazzled, there were bubbles on his hands and he was wearing a shower cap, complete with rubber ducks.
“Um, hi, are you okay? I heard screaming and then you threatened someone and I just--” Yami scrunched his eyes shut and grimaced. “I am so sorry, I can explain if you follow me.” You were hesitant, but followed nonetheless, shutting the door lightly behind you. Yami led you to the bathroom, “Alright, you have to promise not to laugh once I open this door.” You nodded solemnly, fighting off the urge to laugh that had suddenly come upon you.
Yami took a breath and opened the door, revealing a squealing micro pig in the bathtub on top of a towel. You gasped and Yami gave you a worried glance. “It’s adorable! Is this your pig?” Yami nodded, hands running through his hair. It was then that he realized he was still wearing the shower cap. He took it off, cheeks way warmer than a moment ago. “Yes, his name is Pinkie and he absolutely hates bath time.” You nodded, “I see, that makes sense.” “Yeah, sorry for disturbing you. Once he’s all dry it’ll be quieter.”
You smiled and waved off his apology, “Nonsense I don’t mind at all! I just wish you’d told me so I would have gotten to meet him sooner!” You began to leave, satisfied that everything here was in order, but you paused in the doorway. “Would you by chance want a second set of hands?” Yami smiled, “I’d like that. I’ll show you how to bathe him.”
