The recent review by @thecaddicarus of the PS1 game reminded me of this rather decent GBA game. As seen, it’s based off of the late 90s/early 2000s TV series of the same name starring Pamela Anderson. Instead of being a not-quite-game like the aforementioned PS1 game (and its PS2 remake), this is an action-platformer in the style of games like Rolling Thunder, where you not only take control of Vallery Irons (Pam’s character), but also the other characters from the show, each with their own different weapons (one uses a shotgun, while another has throwing knives, for example), and you can also get screen-clearing attacks every once in a while. Not much other than that, it’s a simple affair, and it’s quite enjoyable.

The art style is a bit odd and amusing, in particular the sprite for Vallery/Pam for the fact that it’s pretty much a stick with oversized breasts sticking out. It’s goofy as all hell and I kinda dig it for that. The actual sprites themselves have some good animation too, which is a nice touch. Also the cutscenes with the weird mouth movements and the fact that everyone seems to be trying to pull off The People’s Eyebrow is funny too.

I’d have to see how the Game Boy Color game is, as it’s from the same devs and seems to follow a similar style.
