I haven’t posted art on tumblr in forever, although I have been drawing a lot. As you can see, it’s all Ocs, and in particular me and @nyanpotato have been massively expanding and building up the world, characters and story of planet Nyla. We’ve added 5 new kids to the mix, finally designed Pumpkin’s dad and a few of her relatives and also drew up her little sister, Pumpling. If there’s interest in this post I’ll be sure to post the other expansions to the universe and maybe take the time to explain each individual character and the overall story we’re coming up with. (Even though these guys aren’t villains, they’re still tied to Poppy who is so I’m going to post it in the leaderboard tag)
I don't really use tumblr anymore, but I have been making an actually massive amount of content. I took a break from developing my video game as I'm in the midst of starting University right now, but that doesn't mean I can't still draw less intensive things. So please enjoy Lumina.
I have a question about Nylians - are there any strict rules to their appearance/biology, and if so, are there any evolutionary reasons for them?

“The concrete rules of Nylians are essentially any pale to light medium shade of blue for the skin, I think in terms of hair colours we’ve started playing it a lot looser, with the only real rule being avoiding overly natural hair colours, and eyes are a pastel coloured pupil on a solid coloured scalera. Biology is a broad term so you’d need to be more specific, but suffice it to say we’ve come up with extensive detailed ideas about Nylians, and anything we don’t have an answer for we’ll surely take into consideration! In terms of their evolution, they are the mutant product of amphibious lizards being exposed to toxic waste and eventually gaining a more concrete humanoid form over time. We class them as Amphibitiles as they have smooth skin, but are in all other regards lizards.”
Additionally, from yours truly,As far as biology goes I can definitely say they’re cold blooded and give details abt their diets, their home planet, their overall behavior towards each other, and if anything ISNT covered already, if you ask specifically, it will be very soon after. We honestly hardly stop thinking about these kids and this planet so no question is too far out of reach.
