I've been finding many of my old posts (2014-2017) which is great, but I've come across several things I'm not proud of, which I thankfully don't do/say anymore.

I'm always happy to criticise my past-self while being grateful for how I've grown and changed.

-when I wore a bindi in one photo and argued with the reclaim the bindi movement. I learned from that thankfully.

-when I posted a few photos wearing an urban outfitters headchain. Learned from that too, and have been an activist against cultural appropriation when it's harmful for like 4 years now.

- when I said "I wish I was Dominique Swain" and reblogged tonnes of Lolita shit. I appreciate the art and the filming but it's a horrible story that should not be romanticised and I'll never go back that.

- when I thought the term "white feminism" was judgemental and discriminatory to white women. I didn't understand it was the opposite of intersectional feminism, which all feminism should be.

- Once refering to Aboriginal People as "Aborigines" which I found out is a dehuminising term and haven't used that word for 3 years at least. I always correct others when I hear it.

- Idolising people rather than simply admiring and looking up to them (namely Carl Sagan lol)

- When I would say humans aren't special, are a weed/cancer. I definitely don't follow the nihilistic, ecofascist shit now.

I'll probably end up finding more shit, but honestly, I'm just happy to see how I've evolved, and it reminds me to have hope in other people too and trust that if they think mean well, they can also change.
