In honor of National DNA Day, explore the world’s first scientific attempt to digitize an entire botanical garden.
“The Digitalization of Ruili Botanic Garden project” is the world’s first comprehensive digitalization and in-depth bioinformatics analysis of an entire botanical garden. To provide insight into the technical requirements for “planetary scale” genome projects, such as the Earth BioGenome Project, the 761 specimens sequenced nearly triples the number of plant species with available genome data.
