THE LEGEND OF OX 2022 day one / technical race! 🔥🔥🔥 70 male + 25 female paddlers in the seeding 😱 including some of the fastest paddlers in the world made the quarterfinals already look like finals in other races 🤯 I had to work hard in my quarterfinal already to go to the semi, the semifinal was packed with @oleschwarz @kraytor_andrey @manuellauble branislav sramek, @v_sajdy , @durchschlagmichael @a.portens , @saukoti and @petr.rohlena the semifinal heat took off like a final and between a lot of fights on the buoyturns and swimming lessons for many guys, I was the lucky one to go as 4rd behind ole, vojtech and brani and in front of andrey, manuel and pietr to the final. in the final it looked not so good for me at the first bouy... ranked 5th I was sitting in the wake of damodara on 4th, hermann on 3th, ole and normen were fighting hard for the first place, and on the last buoy of the first lap, normen went to the water and we overtook him. now sitting on 4th, still behind damodara and hermann I was charging my batteries and waiting for my chance. the chance came in the middle of round 2, when hermann and damodara were fighting on a buoyturn and I was able to pass both of them on the inside.
