@mixmasterace i started in 1977 mixing with VHS tapes, cassettes, 8Tracks, then Vinyl in 1983 with DJ Bubba in Montebello, Cali. We were called 12 Cutz a name i came up with because we spun 12 inch records and cut everyone into pieces on the 1's & 2's. At SML on Whittier Blvd., Montebello a DJ named Joe Cooley taught us how to transform. 1985, summertime from The Casa Camino Real me & Bubba spun live on KDAY 1580AM for the first time. We also met & chilled out with N.W.A. for the first time, LL Cool J, Ice-T, Stacey Q too, yes i smashed Ms. Q i was like 16 lol...
