Day 9: Everybody left - hoping for satellite images.
The junkies left during the night. They usually don't stay more than a few hours as they need their stuff and get impatient very quickly. So we could get out of that situation smoothly.
But we lost another day and now we are back in the office building. But we’re the only ones. Everybody else left and it’s already late in the evening again. We tried to radio them but didn't get anything. Having the group on the road without me or Ulick is not optimal. Lia usually keeps the group focused and together and Travis should be able to keep them secure. But the old guy can be trouble, hope he doesn't push one of his stupid ideas.
I'll try to get some images from the old planet labs mini satellite flock. Actually a lot of them still run and as it is open so you can get their images. So let’s hook into the hypernet and download the whole area for the last 24 hours. There should be two snapshots if all sats of this region worked.
I was little when this project of constantly photographing every corner of the world every day, and later even twice a day, was launched and came to completion. It was also the first time we got a nice picture of Pluto, little did they know how important Pluto would be. And of course the Grexit startet to bring a huge economic problem and even started the fall of the western civilisation. It’s never a good idea to give somebody more uncontrolled money that wasn’t able to manage what he already had. But such things are not of any point today, the whole transformation of the world economic system is far away from this old topic. Although this region in particular is still doing pretty bad.
