Journaling on my iPad is one of my favorite things to do EVER! It's like writing on paper, I can doodle, make mistakes (not worrying about them), and take my notes everywhere I go... well, as soon as the lock-down is over 🤓 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My favorite journal prompt from the #planjournalcreate Challenge is the one that says: 'how do you want to feel today, next week, next month? Creating just for the sake of creating and getting out of my head has been pretty hard lately, even when running this #planjournalcreate challenge that is supposed to be only for fun 🤷‍♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For the whole past 2 weeks, at the moment I saw in my planner it was time to create some prints or lettering, I cringed a little and opted to change tasks, aka be distracted with long naps, one call after another with mom + sis, starring at the screen, and anything that would mean I didn't put on my creative hat. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So I decided to give me a little breath. If I want I'll create, and if I don't I'll focus on something else, like filling up the shop with new planners or meditate a few minutes more. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Right now, with all the stress going on, I believe we shouldn't give ourselves any other burden. If you've been here for a while you know I've dread working out for most of my life ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I used to skip gym class, roll my eyes whenever anyone said 'I love exercising', and think that stretching once a week covered my workout needs - ha! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Well, it turns out it doesn't, and exercising can actually be quite fun. But, more than anything, it is good for our health. Plan your weeks + days ahead is the first prompt from the #PlanJournalCreate Challenge, and it's so important to me because the first thing I do when I end up wasting an entire day doing nothing is NOT planning. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When I don't know WHAT I need to do WHEN I get into a never-ending loop of watching YouTube, scrolling IG, and reading every single blog post of my Feedly feed. Which then, turns into regret + frustration because of #allthethings I gotta do ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ That's why every Sunday evening, I spent 30 to 45 minutes planning my week. A new month and a new quarter are here! Are you ready for them? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I know it can feel challenging to keep up with planning and your goals during this hard time in quarantine. But, we need to keep our vibes and spirits high during these days, especially for those around us that need us. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Being in quarantine can be fun, entertaining, and a time for growth. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I used to stay at home most of my time, but seeing how my siblings' and parents' lives have been affected, I got inspired to create a fun challenge for you to stay calm and positive along the way. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I thought this challenge to be done along with the rest of all the things you got to take care of, so most of the prompts here are designed for you to do one every other day unless, of course, you want to do them on a daily basis. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I'm so excited about this challenge because it mixes three of my most favorite things ever! Planning, so you get to do what you gotta do. Journaling, so you get to know yourself better. And creating, so all you (mind, body, soul, heart), can have a breather and have fun! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Participating is quite easy; you just follow the prompts and post a pic about it on Instagram (using the hashtag #planjournalcreate).
