Melody gulped before knocking on the door. "Papa?" She whispered. Learning from her mother what her father did, and learning from the directory where the man that was suppose to be her father lived, she was now here, and had no where to run. "Papa?" She knocked again.

He reached through the tent and pulled out the small piece of cloth that remained the barrier between the woods and his home. He peeked his head through and furrowed his brows when he say his daughter-- of course she would be the only one who came to his home and had the decency to be polite. Daryl cleaned off his hands and walked out, "Mel-Melody---" He stuttered then wasn't sure if he was allowed to hold her. He lingered there for a few seconds before he just gave in and pulled her into an embrace. "Where on earth have you been?"
