“Yeah…she’s twelve and I have a son about three.” her husband hadn’t come back and there was still some hope that he would, that perhaps he was lost somewhere but was trying to get back to them. After all these years though she knew there was a slim chance that Greg was alive. “My little boy is actually a little curious about you. I don’t know how you feel about kids but he wants to ask you a few questions.” She knew what Freddie wanted to ask but she didn’t have the heart to tell him that his father might be gone. The last run he had been on had only two people come back and that was before Rick’s group entered Alexandria.
At this moment her children were with Rick and Carl. Allegra was anxious to meet another kid but Ariel felt it was mostly about him being a boy. Allegra didn’t take to well with some of the other kids, she felt awkward and strange. “So I call you Daryl, um…I’m Syrena. Sorry for the poor welcome. I’m always a little bit weird with new people…since there never are any.”
She wasn't a threat to anyone but ti didn't stop him from being cautious. His social skills weren't the best but he was adept to figuring people out. Daryl paid attention to people when they talked, he noticed how she spoke about her children and not about a husband. He guessed what could have happened, the same thing that happens to everyone nowadays. “Sure.” Daryl despite everything did like children. One of his closest bonds was with Carl, apart from Rick and Carol. “I'll answer what I can after I come back.”
He wiped his nose as he came to halt in front of the garage. Daryl had come to retrieve his bike. “Well, that is my name.” He was a little aggressive in his reply. “Not like you want someone calling you something else besides Ser-e-na” Daryl enunciated her name.
