Does anybody recognize this branch? It came from a tree in the inner regions of the Secret Dog Park--the 26 acres around the Garver Feed Mill in the Eastmorland neighborhood of Madison, WI. Owned jointly by the City of Madison and Olbrich Botanical Gardens, this land is becoming increasingly over grown by exotic species. I fear most of them are ecapees from Olbrich. The encroachment of invasive plants has become exponentially rapid since I moved to the neighborhood in 2004. Pluto and I were in places I have never been at Garver yesterday. And we both emerged a bit worse for the wear. Burdock in my hair, boots, and clothes, and both of us scratched and sweaty. Well, Pluto wasn't sweaty, since he can't sweat.
