Pertaining to my last post; I listened to this older lecture by a respected Elder a week ago. I was discussing this lecture with two associates, both Shaman, and I wanted to prove a point. The Elder said that one way that people show their kinship with the Earth is planting and growing things. Whether it be from seed or not, just to at least try. He went on to talk about what has been lost in plant communities and how they will not be coming back. 😔 One of my associates I was discussing the lecture with felt that most people don't plant things and that they'd rather be on their phones. I disagreed with this and told him I believe most people actually do plant. Even if they aren't blessed with a green thumb most people still desire to plant or at least keep house plants. I feel it's our nature. I also pointed out some people may not be able to because of living situations and space but I believe that when those things change they always plant. My other friend also disagreed with me feeling like only older people plant. I again disagreed and told him of many children and young adults I have encountered in my life that have plants and want to grow things. From trees, to food, herbs, flowers, or house plants. I feel like most people, amateur or not, have a desire to grow from seed or plant. So I decided to ask how many here have plants (seed or plant) and what kinds of plants. Even people who aren't way into it seem to have a few plants. I stand by my feelings; it is a part of human nature and I feel like it's almost a survival instinct. Without them we die. Thank you for all of the comments on the last post. I'm going through them asap. Appreciate all of your kindness. • • • #LastQuarterMoon #plantmedicine #epj #plants #plantAllDay #connect
