My dedication to #plantfailfriday — as a #succulentmurderer . All succulents given to me as a gift are still alive. All succulents I fell for, picked and bought, are dead. ALL. . Now, I am still asking myself why. I changed the medium, always, because the medium which came with the imported plant is often not suited for this climate. It needs to drain even faster, however, retain just sufficient moisture for growth. This is not even considering providing fertilizers. . From the few images you can see that the medium is so dense that after it rots as I watch it slowly wilt to its death, the void in the soil remains. (Just as the voids in my head, most of the time 🤷🏻♂️) . You’ll need to experiment with the correct mixture for your environment, and if it fails, try again until you have only air to eat for lunch. I’m afraid and still dealing with the disappointment! Any advise would be very much welcomed. Please save me from this succulent misery. .
