Day 7 of our @plantshack cleanse - the last day of juicing …….. An incredible gift for our bodies and immune system, the clothes are a bit looser and skin and eyes are clearer. The first 24-48 hours are the hardest, with tiredness and headaches caused by the toxins leaving the body but from day 3 onwards it’s fine and energy levels high again. By the fifth day personally I was absolutely buzzing and resisted the temptation of a glass of cava (and beers) at the new #plantshack in #Calpe. Day six started with our swim in #laolla, and then upto Valencia which was tough as we had a big day and night out with @rosalia.vt. Home at 2:30 in the morning and very tired. But today awake at 8, bright and breezy and in the sea again for a dip followed by the Pure Greens Juice to start the day. I would thoroughly recommend the cleanse, this is my second time and there are 3, 5 and 7 day options - it really does cleanse and flush our systems and @scooms and @lee_swims are always on hand to help and advise along the way. The water was absolutely transparent today, lapping gently at the shore. The sunlight felt like butter. A bunch of lovely open water swimmers were out with Lee from #plantshack . What a delightful way to start the day. Fresh air, nature, elements, movement: this is the stuff of deep happiness. Get outside, look up, there is a marvelous world out there. I read an interview with an Indigenous Canadian Biologist. Her main scientific question: “why is the world so beautiful “? LOVE IT!! You are a tiny spark of this same beauty, never forget it. Do yoga to find that spark and keep it lit. I believe in you.
