So I did an artstyle study afew weeks ago to try and figure out how to draw this pencil necked geek better and thoughts I'd share on here. Ignore the doc shaner one it turned out bad compared to the rest XD.

this was a long one in the making to answer, credit to @ductile-detective for going through the episodes and editing for me.
we had to include some clips from the German dub for fun. fun fact, Woozy's German voice actor is also the German voice for SpongeBob just like how Plas' English voice is SpongeBob. it all came full circle.
i hope this scratched the itch in y'alls brains the way it scratches mine

Not a doodle request but have you seen the 2006 plastic man pilot made by Andy Suriano?
Oh I have and I so wish that it had become an actual show. It was in production when I was a child so if it had been mad I would of grown up on that show. It was definitely the kind of humour I liked as a child and the hyperfixation would have started even earlier. I have it saved to my pc and here are some of my favourites screenshots me and my friends have taken when pausing through it for smear frames.
He's so silly I love how much his design changes from scene to scene, suits him well.
I've seen the concept art too and honestly it's a crime they never got greenlit.

Ok kind of yeah, now forgive me here I haven't read dark night metal yet but I believe if I'm understanding things correctly (if I'm wrong someone please correct me) but the reason the plug exists is due to pleas becoming unstable from something happening to him that caused him to be tuned into everyone in the multiverse worst nightmares due to something something darkmultiverse (again haven't read that comic yet), and in fear of his body morphing to fit what he was tuned into he compressed himself. So yeah it in a way was a defence mechanism but I guess it must of backfired leaving him in that 5 year long coma like state (again the fact that batman didn't reach out to his ex wife and son and tell them what happened makes me very upset :') )
It isn't untill he enters the darkmultiverse again at the start of the teriffics that he wakes up from all of that and de-eggs. The plegg existing is tragic but I can't help but look at it's perfect little shape and smile a bit, it's so cute even though it in reality is poor Patrick trapped in his own mind...again..

what do you suppose your top fantasy is
Ok this one I had to mull over for a while, I assume we mean fantasy for a plastic man project, and there's a lot of things I'd love to see.
For a start I'd love for DC to acknowledge plas again, bring woozy back as he's fun AF. I always joke DC are just intimidated by the raw power of Wolfgang Woozabald Winks XD but let be fair the probably see him as outdated when I think personally the lil man is timeless.
For plas to get good writing again would be another one, to be fair I didn't hate his recent portrayal in the Valentine's comic that bad, I've seen him written much worse and in the drought plas fans have been having from DC I'll take what I can get. His writing in the JLA was hit or miss, with all the perv jokes getting a bit too out of character for my tatse, I don't mind him being a dumb flirt but I felt they took it too far sometimes. It's more funny if the weird shit he does is just accidental or him not understanding social queues.
Another dream project would be if they decided to take that animated pilot and make more with it, or just any animation projects with plas, a movie or a show I'll take what I can get.
i also think it would be nice to just get some more domestic scenes like we used to get in the early comics, really get to know plas more, it's one think I loved in the Kyle baker run was getting to see those little bits of him being the best housewife he can be XD,
Also Big Important thing, I wanna see plas and Luke interact more, him stepping up as a father and helping teach Luke how to use his powers and maybe even some day helping his son become a hero like him if that's what he wants. Plas being proud of Luke and Luke looking up to his father, ease plas can be such a good dad and I wanna see more of that.
Long story short, just more plas would be nice I'm not too picky , and more woozy and luke too.
