Following up from this morning’s office rant.
Basil’s office is moderately lit with softer yellow lighting. (White light tends to irritate his optics after a while.) Very short carpeted floor. There’s a very heavy emphasis on wooden decor. The temperature in the office is always kept on the warmer side. The window is still back there behind the desk, but thick blinds are usually drawn over it during the daytime. Tends to open it at night. Off to the left side of Basil’s desk, there’s a bookshelf and a pair of filing cabinets. To the right side, there’s a plain wooden cabinet. No chairs across from the desk. Ideally, you shouldn’t be in his office long enough to take a seat. Get out.
Sig’s office is shared with Tael. The office is lit with brighter white light, and decor leans into softer blues with darker accents such as rugs beneath both desks. Two swivel chairs across from Sig’s desk. Sig’s office also has a small sofa along the right wall. (It folds out into a futon because sometimes this idiot spends too long working.) Tael’s desk is off to the left side as soon as you step inside. To the left of her desk is a small closet with a few blankets and office supplies inside. The temperature in the office tends to stay to the cooler side. There’s a window to the back here too, with screen style blinds. May be open or closed depending, regardless of the time of day.
Major’s office can vary a lot in lighting. He has sliding switches, so it really depends on his mood or what the people with him prefer. Leans into a lot of darker decor with lighter furniture that pops from it. Fluffy carpet. Much like Sig, Major also has a sofa in the office, though on the left side here. He also has a few small upholstered chairs across from the desk. Off in the corners behind his desk, he has a few potted plants. Off to the right side of the office, there’s a cabinet. What’s in it? He’s so glad you asked! Do you want snacks? Because it’s snacks. And an electric kettle + mugs. Also keeps a candy dish on the desk stocked with the favorites of every reploid in Repliforce. He might not remember much about himself but he WILL remember what you like. Temperature in Major’s office runs frigid. The AC is on BLAST. No window to speak of. Which is fine, it just encourages him to go outside.
