My story:

My I wanted a fantasy vibes kind of username! I was dragongirlie56 (I loved dragons and 56 is a special number for me!) before but I wanted to change it up.

Emerald- Green is my favorite color and I wanted to incorporate it in my user somehow! but Greenknightess or Forestknightess didn’t sound as cool as emerald haha so I went with Emerald!

Knightess- I love knights I think they’re so cool!! (I mean there’s a reason why BOTW Link and HW Link are my favorites hehe) I tried emeralddame since dame is an official title for a female knight but it didn’t sound as good as knightess, the informal version.

Soooo! emeraldknightess it was 🙂‍↕️

I honestly don't know why I chose my username. I was going for something fun, and well, emoelmo was the first thought. But I wanted more. Emoelmothefith is what I ended up with. I misspelled my own username. But it has so much charm I can't change it now

I think I was between this an ArsonandDucks, which is the name of my Ao3 account. Overall you see the theme of a funny username

Astro - Honestly unsure why I chose this.

Mega - Probably relates to me being a huge Mega Man fan.

Oh ho ho!

So when I was coming up with my first username (moshi monsters, I was the perfect demographic for it at the time) I did NOT want to have to add a ton of numbers to my name in order to make it easier to remember. And I was BIG into the Redwall series at the time.

For whatever reason, my brain had attached to a minor character named Broggle in the series, and I wanted to use that for my username. But for the life of me, I could not remember which vowel was used. Wound up picking u because it sounded… better? At the time? And lo and behold, nobody else was using Bruggle as a username so I got to keep it without adding a bs amount of numbers behind it xD

And I’ve been using it for literally everything.

I like my privacy, so I just use it for everything since I have never needed to add numbers to it lololol

I feel like Ive done something like this before..... but ill be a bit more truthful and detailed this time. I had wanted to change my legal name when I was younger and had thought about it for a long time. I hate my legall name. Nadia Fraye was the name I decided I wanted to change it to. Nadia came from Chrono Trigger (another of my favorite games) and Fraye was a jumble mix of inspirations from books, mythology, and music.

That and if you say my username fast enough it also sorta sounds like "Not afraid". As an oath to myself to keep going forward no matter what.

I ended up not legally changing my name due to the cost and hoops you had to jump through. Ive made my peace with that. I usually use my legal name for things I have to mask myself for to be socially acceptable. And my Artist/tumblr name is the real me... raw, messy, happy, unabashedly and unapologetically me. Nadia Fraye.

Hawthorne - Hawthorne was a lot more laid back during certifications and early tenure at Far East. It was only when things began to get chaotic and overly busy that he became so quick to stress out and get angry.

Caraway - Caraway’s certifications took significantly longer to complete than normal. He refused to touch his tools for at least a week and half. And being partnered with the newly rebuilt Major really didn’t help any of his pre-existing apprehensions. By the time they were finished, their certifications had run on an entire month longer than they should have.

Alder - When Alder and Sig were first introduced, they didn’t really get along at first. Alder thought Sig was too uptight and too focused on holding himself to Unit Line Standards. Likewise Sig thought that Alder was rude and irresponsible. They fought all the way through their certifications up until their field test where they managed to prove each other completely wrong and finally connect.

Apex - Apex generally doesn’t fuss at people in medbay like Alder does. But when someone’s injury takes him to that point, he sounds just like him. Alder Jr.

Ashen - Ashen and her brother are opposites of each other in every way. Where she is louder and a bit of an open book, her brother was softer spoken and mysterious. Even down to their color schemes they contrast. Ashen is bright with warmer colors and Yunore had darker, less saturated hues. Despite their differences, she cares for her brother very much. She’ll never stop hoping to find him.

Esse - Even before going maverick, Esse was always that enthusiastic about things he researched. He could write binders upon binders of notes on anything that interested him. He used to enjoy collaborating with Prism to make fancy slideshows to showcase their research.

Dulse - Dulse, much like Eryso and Ydra, feels a very strong connection the the sea. He’s not as prone to just jump in as they are, but the thought does cross his mind sometimes when he’s walking along the main deck. When he does dive, he likes to collect seaweed and makes his own seaweed snacks when he gets back to the ship.

Lucky is one of my Spider Units! Takes bounty hunting less seriously than my other boy, Seeker. But still manages to make pretty good money. Slot Roulette themed fellow! What he rolls on his roulette determines what weapons he can utilize. The better the roll, the better the weapon. He’s really only interested in taking a job if he thinks it’s gonna be fun.
