Pokemon Card of the Day #1714: Colress (Plasma Storm)
Colress was an interesting form of hand refreshment, which was always something useful. It was a Supporter that, when played, had you shuffle your hand into your deck and draw a card for each Benched Pokemon in play on both sides of the field. Decks that tended to have a full Bench, which were rather common, made great use of Colress. It was quite common to get several cards out of this, especially in the middle to later stages of a game. Technically, the opponent could limit Colress’ draw power to an extent, but there were so many decks that needed a few Benched Pokemon that Colress was good in most games. It was a common sight in a lot of decks and one of the better drawing options out there.
