Okay art teachers, any suggestions?
My 3D class will be working on plaster sculptures soon.
Basically they mix the plaster and water in a 1/2 gallon milk carton, then after it's set a little bit, peel off the sides of the carton and start sculpting.
You don't have to be an art teacher to answer this, but any suggestions on what to mix the plaster with in the carton? I'll have two classes doing this...both with about 34 students. I am making my example soon so I can figure out how to work with this plaster.
I'd rather have them mix the plaster while it's in the carton to create less mess. The school doesn't have an electric mixer (like a drill with one of those special mixer attachments), and even if they did, I doubt they would lend it to me so it could become covered with plaster.
Would wooden spoons work?
