These photos are just a small insight to the amount of rubbish I see everywhere. Some places are worse than others.
Please take rubbish home with you or put it in the bins that are provided around parks and streets, rather than dumping it. Take rubbish to the tip. Recycle your rubbish instead of leaving it to harm our planet and wildlife.
Plastic takes hundreds of years to decompose and in the mean time it's killing millions of marine life and land mammals. And we just keep producing more and then littering where it can keep harming more wildlife.
It's also just disgusting to see litter everywhere you go. There are so many beautiful places we can go and yet we are destroying them. I see people so often just casually tossing rubbish over bridges into canals, throwing bottles and other rubbish in parks. Used face masks are a common sight on the floor too.
To those who do take rubbish home, who recycle, who put rubbish in bins, thank you. Also thank you to volunteers who spend so much time cleaning up after other people to make parks and other places nicer. It's much appreciated
Plastic Kills
STOP DESTROYING OCEANS!
An Idea I really like… With the world choking on plastic, this is an idea I really like: boxed water. After a two mile hike at Bernheim Forest, we returned to the visitor center and bought two of these at the snack shop. They taste really good.
Take care of the environment - queremos aguas limpias.
