Roberto Rodriguez’s “Hunting Time” at Plastic Murs.

Opening on Friday, October 28th, 2016 at Plastic Murs Gallery in Valencia, Spain is the solo exhibition by artist Roberto Rodriguez entitled “Hunting Time.”

With “Hunting Time” Rodriguez presents a series of psychedelic animals, victims of the outsiders that attack them, their fear and anger igniting their intense colors as visual metaphors of disrupted peace.  Rodriguez asks the question, “who is it to say we’re the powerful ones - We are the ones invading their territory.  What makes us the grander individual?”

“Hunting Time” will be on display until December 3rd, 2016.

Ivana Flores’s “Seven Floors to Heaven” at Plastic Murs.

Opening April 15th, 2016 at Plastic Murs Gallery in Valencia, Spain is artist Ivana Flores’s solo show “Seven Floors to Heaven.”

Ivana presents a body of work with “Seven Floors to Heaven” that deals with her personal feelings of joy, sadness, love, loneliness, hopes and disappointments.  Her characters move in an imaginary and magical universe, whose aesthetic is inspired by the circus world of yesteryear. The atmosphere in which it is immersed, full of colors, nature and animals guides the viewer into the foundation and the leitmotif of the series: in each and every one of her works the blue eyes of its protagonists insistently fastens us. There in those eyes an undeniable sadness is detected but also, and above all, lots of inner strength.  That strength that only those who can transform pain into love and sadness in beauty have.

“Seven Floors to Heaven” will be on display until May 14th, 2016.

“Lápiz, Papel o Tijera” at Plastic Murs.

Opening on January 29th, 2016 at Plastic Murs Gallery in Valencia, Spain is the group show “Lápiz, Papel o Tijera,” or Pencil, Paper or Scissors.  The show features over 30 really great New Contemporary artists who have all created brilliant graphite illustrations for the show.  The show is on display until March 4th, 2016.
