PLATAPORMA is an initial project of a bigger project. The vision has been in conception for 20 plus years. What would I do if I become the next President of the Philippines

1. Alleviate Poverty

-Puro nalang mayayaman ang mga nakatira sa Pilipinas. Yung tipong ang ginagamit na na brand ng tsinelas ay Havianas sa tuwing maglalaro ng tsinelas lata.

2. Promote quality education

-Bawal na ang hindi matalino. Yung tipong ang ginagamit na nating pangalan ng mga gulay at prutas ay scientific names at ang mga main topic ng tsismis ng mga magkakapitbahay ay kung pano e disprove ang research topic ng bawat isa.

3. Food Security

-Wala nang magugutom except sa nagdadiet.

4. Crime Prevention

-Wala nalang batas para wala naring crime. 

5. Address environmental concerns

-Wala nang brown-out, sun-out nalang dahil solar powered na ang buong bansa. Pwede ng gamitin ang plastic kase nadiskubre na sa mga pagsusuri kung pano e degrade ito at gawing kapaki-pakinabang

6. Better Health Programs

-Minimum age limit na pwedeng mamatay  through natural cause ay 100. Ang bababa dito ay hindi matatawag na Pilipino kase better nanga  ang health program. gets?

7. Protection against terrorists and other countries

-Gagawa ng bagong samahan ng mga bansa na tatawaging UNITED WORLD na kung saan isa sa mamumuno ang Pilipinas.

  Among the collectives working in the art scene is Plataporma. While the title of its work Now/Here refers to the idea of the Lopez Memorial Museum and its location, it could also indicate the collective’s beginnings.  Plataporma describes itself as “a process-based arts and cultural research collective geared towards investigating notions of spectatorship and the relationship between culture and technology with different public spheres (http://nowherehyperextensions.blogspot.com). To explain what this means by discussing projects undertaken and processes used for example, there will be an Artists’ Talk on March 12, Saturday, 2-4 pm.

Plataporma is composed of Mervin Espina, Buen Calubayan, Lauren Villarama and Mark Salvatus. The series of projects called now/here involve evolving multimedia components and installations that “re-think the geography and institutional history of the Lopez Museum.” These projects are part of the exhibition Extensions which is ongoing until April 20, 2011.

The Lopez Memorial Museum is at the ground floor, Benpres Building, Exchange Road corner Meralco Avenue, Pasig City. Museum days and hours are Mondays-Saturdays, except Sundays and holidays, 8am-5pm.
