Hey guys! I combined my writings for 2 days, so the timeline might be confusing.

Today (aka 2 days ago when i wrote this) I decided to write about myself because recently I have been writing about more complex topics and I think that I should review the basics. So, here's a little intro: I'm Jules and I'm 17. This fall, I will be starting by first year at university and I will be studying molecular biology and French. I can't wait to improve my French level, to start biology research, and I also can't wait to meet my roommate! I hope to make a lot of new friends and that my classes are all fun. I am a bit nervous because today I found out that my French course requires all students to speak French all the time. I am used to speaking French in class, but before by teachers let us speak English if the students were having trouble. At university, it is more strict so I have to really do my best. Yesterday, I went to NYC with my dad. I had an amazing day! We took the train because it was faster and more efficient than the car. When we arrives, we went to the High Line for a long walk and to see the building called the Vessel. After, we walked to Chelsea by the Hudson river and we did some shopping in SoHo. I bought two paires of really pretty shoes. Til tomorrow!

Aujourd’hui, j’ai décidé d'écrire à propos de moi, parce que récemment j’écrivais sur des sujets plus compliqués et je pense que je devrais revoir les fondamentaux. Alors, voici une petite introduction: je m’appelle Jules et j’ai dix-sept ans. Cet automne, je commencerai ma première année à l'université et j'étudierai la biologie moléculaire et français. J’ai hâte d'améliorer mes compétences en français, de commencer la recherche biologique, et j’ai aussi hâte de rencontrer mon camarade de chambre! J'espère me faire beaucoup de nouveaux amis et que mes cours sont tous amusants. Je suis un peu nerveuse parce que aujourd’hui j’ai découvert que mon cours de français exige que tous les élèves parlent français tout le temps. Je suis habitué à parler français dans un cours, mais avant mes enseignants nous laissaient parler anglais si les élèves avaient des moments difficiles. À l’université, ce sera plus strict donc je dois vraiment faire de mon mieux. Hier, je suis allée à New York City avec mon père. J’ai passé une journée incroyable! Nous avons pris un train car c’était plus rapide et efficace que la voiture. Quand nous sommes arrivés, nous sommes allés dans le High Line pour une longue promenade et pour voir le bâtiment intitulé le Vessel. Après, nous avons marché jusqu'au quartier appelé Chelsea à côté du fleuve Hudson et nous sommes allés faire du shopping à SoHo. J'ai acheté deux paires de très jolies chaussures. À demain!
