Dude i don’t know you but I am dying to know: what does a platypus shift feel like? Like what do you do?
When i’m in a platypus shift i like to swim or take a bath, i also like to eat stuff that have a similar texture to the small water creatures i would eat. I feel very connected to my platypus theriotype when i’m shifted. I don’t talk much, if at all, and i’m just a silly little platypus.
Skipping to day 7 cause i don’t really have any linktypes or anything familiar, or at least consider my favorite things those. Anyways, day 7: awakening! Ever since i was little i’ve always felt like some sort of animal. I’d get shifts in the pool when swimming (still do) and watch a bunch of shows about animals (especially the crocodile hunter and wild kratts) i first learned about therianthropy when i was around 12, and most therians i could find at the time were the “cool” animals like wolves and cats (no offense to any theriotype/kintype reading this! All therians are valid as long as you’re not scum or kin with scum.) eventually i rediscovered the alterhuman community very recently when i made a tumblr account, and concluded that i was platypuskin!
Day 1 of the 30 day alterhuman art challenge: my kintypes! I have more but i wanted to draw these two, as i feel the most connected to them… a platypus theriotype and bowbot from inanimate insanity!

No need to feel embarrassed, anon! Platypodes are some of the most interesting animals on earth! You’re very important to the ecosystem, and if I may say so myself, very cute! Platipodes have taught us a lot about animals as a whole, as well. Personally, I think you’ve got a very unique and very amazing kintype!
